  • Facebook displays blank white page.?

Recently when I sign into Facebook it displays nothing but a blank white page. I have received no ban notifications. An internet search brought many suggestions including updating the browser, deleting cookies, updating flash player, etc. Tried them all. Discovered I could still access the account fine on mobile app. Then discovered I could sign into a different account on the same computer just fine. I have this problem on both Chrome and IE. What the hell is going on?

  • What if someone with my exact same name claimed my car was his?

This may be a stupid question and maybe I'm missing something obvious but what if someone with my exact same name drove away with my car? And let's say for the sake of argument I never reported it stolen for whatever reason. All my title says is my name and my address and it's not even my correct address because I've moved since I bought the car. Could someone get away with keeping my car and/or selling it? I've Googled my own name and there are dozens of people in this country with my exact same name. I'm in Kentucky if that matters and say it was taken to another state. (This has not happened, btw, it's just one of those weird things you think of at 4 a.m. when you can't sleep.)

  • Can you shoot an unarmed man in self defense if?

that person is much larger than you and/or much younger or you're in poor health and you feel that person could do serious damage to you? For instance, I am 52, diabetic, bulging discs in my back and neck, arthritis in my knees, high cholesterol, etc. If a much larger or younger or both person attacked me and I felt he intended to do me serious bodily harm with his bare hands could I shoot him in self defense?

  • HP Pavilion Shutting Down No Signal To Monitor?

I have an HP Pavilion a6300f with an Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS video card and an HP S2331 23" monitor. The tower is about 7 years old. A few weeks ago I began coming in and seeing "No Signal To Monitor" as a screen saver on the monitor and no amount of moving the mouse or tapping keys would wake it up. I'd have to reboot the system with the power button. Now, in addition to that I come in frequently and the system has rebooted for no reason because it's on my password screen. Sometimes the power button will be yellow as if the machine is asleep but nothing will wake it up and again I have to power it down and power it up manually. Sometimes when I do it will say "Resuming Windows" on the monitor, the blue boot up screen will come on but when it actually starts to boot I get the "No Signal To Monitor" all the sudden. This used to be infrequently. Now it's happening if I leave the computer running without use for more than a few minutes. I'm thinking I need a new computer but if this is an issue someone is familiar with and you know of a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Marines: Is NCIS accurate about being trained to break a man's neck?

On NCIS Agent Gibbs claims Marines are taught to break a mans neck with just 66 pounds of pressure. Is this true? Surely they have some sort of Navy/Marine adviser on set to tell them these things.

  • Younger woman showing interest.?

I'm 50 years old. I've worked with this girl for about 3 years. She's around 26. Very attractive. She has shown signs of interest in me. We exchange glances across the room, that kind of thing. What little we talk she laughs at my jokes and all. Because of the age difference I've never given her that much attention. If I ignore her, which I do at times because I don't want to be mistaken for a stalker or anything, she seems to get annoyed with me. She's very shy so she doesn't talk much and never approaches me but I catch her looking at me a lot. I don't actually look 50 but I don't look any younger than my early 40's so I don't know if she knows how old I am but surely she knows I'm not her age. I could ask her out but if I'm wrong, I'm not just that guy that hit on her. I'm that creepy OLD guy that hit on her. The stakes are a bit higher, if you know what I mean. Any suggestions?

  • What kind of hand to hand combat were U.S. Marines taught in the early 80's?

I've been reading about LINE and how some branches of the service are now going to MMA for their close quarters training. What did the marines teach before that, specifically the early 80's?
