Credit Card with no job but large bank account?

How do wealthy people get credit cards if they don't have a job but lots of money in the bank? They always ask to verify your income.

    They got the cards when they had jobs or before the credit card companies started requiring verifiable income (I think that was in 2008).

    They could have no job, but their money does work for them. They may be investing and have a decent income from investing, own a property and rent out or own their own businesses. Any income is considered

    Talk to your bank about a secured card, and then Pledge $1,000 (or more) so that you have one that is actually practical / usable. {Most wealthy people have, or had, a job ... or they have large investment income.}

    They have investment income.
