Marines: Is NCIS accurate about being trained to break a man's neck?

On NCIS Agent Gibbs claims Marines are taught to break a mans neck with just 66 pounds of pressure. Is this true? Surely they have some sort of Navy/Marine adviser on set to tell them these things.

I do know that is true but would be surprised if it were true. War is not a tea party. It might be our own land some day and the defenders need to know how to defend. Trust me

Its is Hollywood even with the indisputable fact that it truly is a quite strong simulation. I went via USMC boot Camp in 2002 and that i became surprised what Drill instructors might want to get away with. They cant hit you yet they could modify you. they don't look to be meant to swear yet they do. The issues that i realized maximum it really is diverse contained in the action picture is the shortcoming of seeing different drill instructors. In authentic boot camp you've 3 to 4 drill instructors and also you hardly ever see your Senior DI and he his frequently extra of a kinder fatherly figure then the different tormentors. If it worse its totally as a lot as your own idea. i imagine it became because I went via it and experienced all of it. I wasn't the perfect recruit so I stuck Allot of guff from the DI's and different recruits. It genuinely a diverse journey.

That should be a green, brown, or black belt move. Since I know that tan and grey belt does not teaches moves that break necks.

Everybody in boot camp graduate with tan belt.

I'm sure they learn all sorts of brutal things in boot camp. I wouldn't be suprised if it were true, however.
