Biggest thing is your AFSCs. Not every base will have most AFSCs. If one of you works on F-15s and the other say works on bombers and both aircraft types are not on the same base, then you 2 probably won't be together. Now if one of you has an AFSC of say cook, or admin, or medical, then yes the odds are good because the one with the aforementioned AFSCs can go to any base.

There are couples who have been exceedingly blessed and others who have not been so fortunate. Everything depends upon career fields and the needs of the AF. Just know there are NO guarantees.

One couple we are friends with... they were at the same base, then he went on a remote. Back a year, she went remote. PCSed to her follow-on together. Spent the next 5 years on opposite deployment schedules, basically apart for 6 months, together for 5 or 6, repeat. Another couple.... 15 years of pcsing together (4 bases), with very little time apart.

I agree with all the above. In my experience most monitors/detailers do a great job keeping married couples if not on the same base at least near by. Example Hampton Roads area of Virginia has fifty Navy commands (maybe more including ships) Sailors can be stationed .......................

It depends on their ranks and their AFSCs.

If one is a fighter pilot and the other a missileer, it probably won't happen.

If both of them are lower grade enlisted cops, then they probably have a pretty good shot.

The USAF says they will try to keep you two together but they won't promise it.

What jobs? There must be a job opening for each at a particular base then that job must require that rank.

It isn't. They will certainly try, but, sometimes they just can't do it.
