I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and all of the sudden when I power it up I hear the fan turn on and the hard drive stop for 1 or 2 seconds and then the hard drive immediately stops. The computer never boots up. None of the lights are lit up except for the power light. Any idea what this might be?? I bought it at Best Buy last summer....what are my options?

When I try to edit my profile on Y! Answers it gives me an error --"Oops this account has been used." What does this mean? I haven't violated any terms or anything...? I recently moved to another state and previously had an "sbcglobal.net" email address which they made me change to a free yahoo address (since I was no longer in sbcglobal territory I guess). I transferred everything from my sbcglobal account to my new yahoo account...could this be the reason? I can answer questions but when I try to edit my profile it gives me an error?

My birthday is tomorrow and I'm wanting to go to a good Thai restaurant somewhere in or around downtown Louisville. My fiance and I just moved here in April so we're new to the area. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!

OK I'm new to this dog thing, I've always had cats & my fiance and I recently moved in together. He has a black lab that constantly comes up to us when we're sitting on the couch and either just stares at us or puts his head on our lap. I'm guessing it's just a sign of affection but I'm worried that it might be some kind of anxiety because he just won't leave us alone (and it gets quite annoying because he's not a small dog--120 lbs). He doesn't act up when we leave him alone so I don't think it's seperation anxiety. Why does he do this???

I've heard of people pulling out the hair on their head, their eyebrows and eyelashes but I can't stop plucking my leg hairs and bikini area. It's a very embarassing disorder and I'm not sure how to stop but I cannot stand when dark hairs start growing in on the fronts of my legs. For some reason I am fascinated by plucking hairs out by the root. I have scars up and down my legs and it makes me very self consciense but I can't stop. Anyone else do this??

I've been taking "the pill" for about 7 years now and I just read somewhere that it can have some negative side effects. Does anyone know what these are? My hair & nails break very easily....does this have something to do with it? I also heard that I should be taking a pre-natal vitamin along with the pill to replenish my body's nutrients...??

My fiance and I just moved to Kentucky and I am looking for part-time work for some extra money. I've heard of the Mystery Shopper Network but does anyone know if this is a hoax or not?? It almost seems too good to be true.

My boyfriend and I just bought a house and we are moving in together for the first time in a few weeks. He has a big black lab and I have a domestic cat. She does NOT get along with other cats very well but I've never seen her around another dog. What would be the best way to introduce them to eachother? This will be a brand new house that neither of them have lived in before.

I'm looking at houses there and I've never lived in Kentucky any info would be great!...like is it a long commute to downtown Louisville? Are there any comparable places close by? Are there good restaurants? Nice people?

I currently live in St. Louis, MO (The actual town is Chesterfield) and I am moving to Louisville in a few months. For anyone who is familiar with STL, do you know of any nice areas (similar to Chesterfield) to live in? I'm looking for somewhat affordable too. My hair grows ridiculously slow and my fingernails always peel and break. I exercise, eat a healthy diet, and take care of my hair & nails, but for some reason I can't get them to grow! I've been taking prenatal vitamins for almost 3 months now and it hasn't changed anything. Any other suggestions?? Thanks so much!
