lived in a apt for college. I never signed a lease me and the landlord just had a verbal agreement. I moved in on sept. 1st and was supposed to move out on Dec. 20th I was supposed to pay my landlord 1500$ for those months plus pay my own electricty and gas bill. The way i payed him (or was supposed to pay him was 800 within the first month and 700 in nov. ) i only ended up paying the first 800 and moving out the house within the first 3 weeks of me living there. When i first moved in the house i turned my lights on and they didnt work. I called the electric company and they told me that it wasn't them i had to get in touch with the landlord and he had to fix the wiring because there was nothing wrong on their end. after mutipul calls he finally sent someone out to fix the lights after me not having lights for 2 weeks. So after i the lights got turned on at the end of dec. (living in upstate ny) it starts to get cold and i realize i have no heat (even though my gas/heat is on), i ask the gas/electricity to send someone in AGAIN to make sure everything is fine and once again they tell me that it is nothing on their end to and try to get in touch with my landlord again. I try to get in touch with him but he ignores me. So i decide to call the health department (they told me that it wasnt cold enough to do anything yet even though it was like 20 degrees at night) but once i told my landlord that i called the health department he found a way to fix the heat. well so once i moved out he added a lock to the main door to get in my apt building so when i tried to send out the electric/gas company to shut off the services they couldnt get in and whenever i tried to get in touch with my landlord so he could open the door for them but he ignored my calls. Now i have a 1030.00 bill for months that i wasnt living in the apt. + when i moved out all the lights and heat was off so i dont understand why my bill would even be that much. Can i sue my land lord so he will pay the light bill ?

sorry i am just realizing i am meant to tell you guys before i moved out he told me to move out ! HE SAID / SCREAMED when i had my sister pretend he was my mother call me and say that he needed to fix some of the things in my apt and take all the big trash bags out the hall way and get some lights in the hall way since i lived right by a bar and he left the hall way lights on and some random guy tried to follow me up ! HE SAID THAT WE WERE JUST TRYING TO GET OVER ON HIM ASKING HIM TO DO UNNECESSARYRY STUFF TO MY HOUSE AND THAT I NEEDED TO GET MY STUFF AND MOVE OUT ! so i did and that's when he finally put the locks on my apt. main door. so dont say that i just moved out on him and i owed him rent because he told me to move out !

i side swiped my dads car while driving my little sister to school . (he was out of town and my car is in the shop so he told me i could use his car). Nothing happened to the other car but my grandfathers car has scuff marks that he car get out (just by waxing the car) No scratches! and a little piece got hit of the side (said to easily put back on) instead of tellin him the truth i lied and said someone must have side swipped it when i was parked somewhere. He brought his car to teh shop and the mechanic told him that there is no way i car swiped us while we were parked i had to hit something. Should i tell him the truth or should i just keep up the lie that i have!

i live in CT and he Lives in staten Island NY (2 hours away) this was one of the main reasons we broke up because we never got to see each other anymore. here is the situation this girl had my backpack her and her mother were acting like bit*hes and didn't wanna give it to me so i had to get the police involved to get it for me. when i got it back it didn't have everything in it . i really don't care . well i care but the thing that it had in it that i wanna sue her for is a camera. it wasn't like a 1000 dollar camera but it wasn't mine the camera is 120 and to tell you the truth i gotta pay for college next year and i cant pay for it. i just want her to give me the camera back or the money for the camera.
