Remove rust from car's frame/floorpans?
I just bought an old '65 Mustang, and I need to get rust off the floorpans and undercarriage. It's not serious yet, there's no holes/cracks, but what's the best way to get it off? Rent a sandblaster and have at it? Or is there some other method that's more efficient? Also, what are some good undercoatings? Thanks in advance!

A power station is on one side of a river .5 miles wide. Find the most economical path to run power lines from the power station to a plant 6 miles downstream, on the other side of the river, assuming it costs $6/foot to run line over land and $8/foot to run power lines underwater.
Thanks!!
2 AnswersMathematics1 decade agoWho makes the best crate engines?
I'm looking for something to replace a 318 V8 in a 72 Plymouth... The tranny in it now is kinda shoddy so.... I'd like to find a tranny that goes well with whatever engine I get, prolly some form of a 727? As far as an engine, I'm thinking something in the range of a 350-427. Suggestions?
5 AnswersDodge1 decade agoWhat's the most horsepower that can be squeezed from a 1972 Plymouth 318 V8?
As said, it's a 1972 Plymouth 318 V8. It's sitting in a Scamp that originally had a 340. It has a 2 brl Weber carb, stock exhaust and air intake but there are hood scoops that could be used, and a 723 tranny. I'm thinkin this is rated at 230 hp... Any thoughts on what could be done with it? Possibly a bigger 4 brl carb and exhaust? I'm not sure... thanks in advance!

I'm looking at one a buddy of mine has for sale. One owner, about 50k miles, it's in pretty good shape but it's been kept outside so the tires are trashed and the paint's fading. I guess it's a pretty general question... but he's asking 5k for it. Is this too much?
