So, I have the official SAT prep guide from the makers of the test from College Board. I also have khan acaddmy's sat prep. So, sincr the sat is split up into evidence based reading anf writing and no calculator math and calculator math, I was thinking if studying the different types of questions on khan academy and then solving the types of questions that I studied in the prep book. Basically, if I study heart of algebra through khan academy, I will go to practice test 1 on the prep guide and find all of the heart of algebra questions and solve them. If i get a question wrong, I will right down the explanation in my own words to better memorize the fact in the explanation for the test. I will even look at the explanation if i get the question right just to have a guide to keep answering that question correctly in the future. Is this an effective way to prepare?

I took the AP GOV test and there was a question that asked me to describe two advantages of federalism.

I said that federalism is the division of power between the national government and state government, so neither is too powerful.

Also, I said that federalism evolves into other variations of itself. I said that it can evolve into cooperative federalism, where the national government and the state government combine powers to get legislation passed.

Were these appropriate responses for this question?

I took the AP US Govt and Politics exam.

For the first question, the FRQ asked me to list a way that the supreme court insulates itself from public opinion.

I said that the fact that the Supreme Court only takes appellate and original jurisdiction cases is a way that it insulates itself from public opinion.

Is this true?

I am 17 years old. I have a heavy schedule. I take multiple AP classes, am obligated to multiple clubs, hold multiple leaderships positions, and I still maintain great grades. I am very goal-oriented. I work a lot, so I like to have sex/ejaculate for relief. I hang out with my friends, but I often find myself craving sex. I used to maturbate, but it got boring. I am planning on taking both AP Econ courses online. However, I want to know the length of Micro and Macro. From my ap providers micro is one semester long. How long is the actual microeconomics course?

I have a 3.7 gpa and a 30 on the ACT. On college confidential and one comment on here, a 3.7 gpa and a 30 on the ACT gets me negative comments on if I can get into top colleges. It is not like I am applying to ivy league schools. I am applying to UMICH, New York University, UVA, UT Austin, The Mays School of Business. What is wrong with my stats?

Okay, so I have been with my gf for a year. Before her, I wanted to go out-of-state for university, Vanderbilt if in-state. I still have this goal. Before me, she wanted to do Active Duty for the army. Now, she is deciding between Active Duty and the National Guard. I told her that I am not going to change my goals for her because I have to make my own living in this world, and her the same. Once I get out of Memphis, I am out, and whether or not she stays because she sacrificed her goal is not up to me because I am not coming back. Being an econ major in college is my dream and I refuse to let all of my hardwork go to waste. She is mad at me. Was I wrong for this?

Okay, I am high school junior with a 3.66-3.7 gpa. At the end of my high school career, I will have 7 AP classes and 3 dual enrollment classes under my belt. I plan to score at least a 30 on the ACT. I have had 6 leadership positions, rank in the 10th percentile of my class, and I have 100+ communities hours with three awards. On paper, I am college-ready. However, I am scared because I am turning a new leaf in my life. I will be applying to top schools along with safety schools. I have been a child my entire life, living in my parents' and friends' microcosm. I do not know how to adjust to the upcoming application season. I am honestly scared of change. I have been living in one neighborhood my entire life, and I am scared of having to apply. How can I stop this fear? Thanks for the help!

Okay, so my girlfriend and I arr sexually active 16 year olds. We are only having sex with each other, no outsiders. For the past 6 or 7 months, she has been wanting a threesome. We have been together for a year and we are rebuilding our relationship after a tough sketch of hormone induced anger ( teen problems ). I know that we care about each other. She was not like this before we became active, but now she is. My biggest concern is that she may find a group of people besides me to fulfill her desires and that would be embarassing.

I am a 16 year old. I am academically smart. I take ap classes, i am in the top tenth percent of my class, and i have a high gpa. I am a nerd with a life. I have a girlfriend and we are on the verge of dating for a full year!

However, this past year with her has been a trying one. I continuousy yell at her. I have trust issues; I have been cheated on in the past, but those were one month to three months at the most. So, lets say a woman gives oral sex to a man with genital herpes. A couple of weeks from.now, she will more than likely see symptoms of the disease. Lets say the ma wasnt having an outbreak and he did not ejaculate in her mouth. She just gave him head for a couple of minutes and she was done. If the herpes is inside of his genital area, how did it get in her mouth? I mean, she did not suck the inside of his penis, she sucked the outside, where the skin is at. How does she get herpes in this case?

So I take the act in march. That means I have 8-9 months to practice. So I am studying every section for two months in the order the act sections come in. I am using mcgraw hills 10 act practice tests and barrons 6 act tests. In the mcgraw hill book, I am scoring a 25-30 on each practice english test. In the barrons book, I am scoring a 19-25 on each practice english test. I am also using act online prep offered by act, inc. It predicted that I would score a 21-25 on the english section. In the book, i am scoring 25. Some days I score higher than 27, some days I go to 24. It is also noted that barrons act practice books are harder than the actual test as said on the internet everywhere. I ordered another mcgraw hill book, but my parents said use barrons. I just want to be as prepared as I can for test day. Which book should I use?

In eighth grade I got cheated on. I did not take it seriously because it wad only junior high. So, last year I found the guy that my 8th grade gf cheated on me with. He turned out to be cool and he and I go to school. Lets call him Tony. Tony is a better dresser and a better athlete. I am better academically and i am a better thinker. He helps me fit in socially and I help him improve his gpa. Nonetheless, he still took my eighth grade gf which I do not care about. He and I are not best friends, but we are friends to say the very least. He seems to appeal to girls more, having many girls coming his way. I have a gf, so I am content. My question is did he take my gf because he is a better n1gga? Like I said, we both have something the other doesn't. Did my gf then fall into his arms because I was the inferior n1gga or because she is a h0e?

I am aware that the act places math questions in random order. I am also aware that that they don't use the same exact equations. Does the act use the same type of equations that we can solve the same way ?

I received today from nshss, a program founded by Claes Nobel. It stated my academic achievement and how I should pay $60.00 For membership. I know it is a potential scholarship. However, I have been receiving information from Vanderbilt University. I am so disappointed that it was from a scholarship program and not a prestigious academic institution like Vanderbilt. Why am I?

I have gotten mail from Vanderbilt talking to me about financial aid And opportunity vanderbilt... also I've been getting mail about facts about the school and what I should do to be competitive for college admissions. I emailed the the provost and someone replied on in his behalf... I asked if the information I received is an act of interest or just trying to educate me about Vanderbilt...i got an email back saying that it is both and that they want me to know about vu and see if I would like to apply to vu my senior year. I am a rising junior with a 3.5 GPA and will be taking three AP classes. Is this a joke because they will also be emailing me about visits to Memphis ( where I live ) in the fall...

I usually talk to my girlfriend and every night she leaves me and goes to sleep or talks to someone else. So, I sent her a message saying how she is insensitive, how she has no regard for my feelings, and how am I supposed to be a boyfriend if you don't talk to me before anyone else. I then said I hope you burn in he'll. I hope you die. I hope you find a man in the army who beats you to death. I hope you arr poor. Was I right for this? So my gf and I just got in an argument and she started yelling at me in front of her family, embarrassing me. I think she is immature for doing that. It's our argument, not her family's argument.
