I was alerted that I had won $500 for a contest I was participating in. When I was not awarded the money I contacted them and they said it was a mistake. They did not immediately retract the message or even after I alerted them of receiving the email did they attempt to correct the issue if it affected others involved.

I would like to know if anyone has experience regarding an issue like this. Can they be held liable for this mistaken contact? Would spending because of the expected prize affect a decision?

I have a 32GB iPod and wanted to add some extra movies on it and play them on my iPad, when not on a network. Is it possible to share them over bluetooth?

The only sites I've seen only offer their clipart and text, I want it to be made with my design on it.

I want to have the signal from 1 component video cable go to two different places. I want a simple splitter that will allow me to connect the component video cable to the splitter, and then from the splitter to my tv and computer. It does not matter if the splitter is for all 5 inputs, or 5 separate for each singular input, but where can I get something that will do this?

I am not gay, but I do not see any reason why anyone should stop a legal process between two people. If the argument is religion, then you already lost. Religion is to be kept out of law. What if there was a religion were straight marriage was wrong and you lived in that society?

I think it is a right to be married, not a privilege, and if it is accepted as a right, you cannot deny someone that right based on gender. I think that it is protected under the 9th and 10th amendments.

I have a laptop with Vista 64 bit, and I need a capture card to record from an xbox 360. The xbox isnt the problem, the cable has 2 videos already, its the laptop and vista 64 bit that I'm having trouble with.

We get snubbed from the BCS and from the NCAA tourny. They wont even let our baseball team play in the National League for Christ's sake. Why do they keep screwing us from the recognition we deserve. When looking on edmunds they have two separate trims for both the sport and grand touring trims calling them New Sport and New Grand Touring. I have also read that people are getting great deals (1000 under invoice) for 2008 speed3s. Is the difference just the manufacturing date or is there significant changes in the cars. Also how would i tell that it is a 2008.5 and not a 2008 version.

There are only six bcs conferences, ACC, SEC, Pac10, Big10, Big12, and BigEast. They could easily switch to a simple 8 team playoff or even a 12 team one like the nfl. the six conference champs and 6 more teams inbetween. They could have the top 4 ranked teams givin a bye and teams ranked 5-12 could play. they could even do 16 teams, which would take the same amount of time. it could start as soon as the conference championship games ended. instead of a month off they could keep playing and finish the same weekend with the 12 or 16 team playoff. also why dont they make it mandatory for a conference to have a championship game. it gives some teams an unfair advantage and each year that changes.
