Cheapest, most cost efficient phone/service. I've heard VoiP is good. What about pre-paid cell phones? What's the cheapest way to go? We don't get too many calls (like a regular business) but do use about 7-10 hrs a week. Any suggestions?

I recently started a Y! group for the guinea pigs. Guinea Pig Rescue Connection is a group dedicated to guinea pig rescues. It's main purpose is to connect potential adopters to rescues and guinea pig owner to piggy-sitters and supplies, as well as assist in guinea pig transportation. I rescued an older male teddy bear hamster a little while back. Someone had dropped him off at a Petco & a lady took him home, but couldn't keep him, so she gave him to me, as I do animal rescue work for exotic pets.

Well some odd black/purpleish ball(I have no idea what it could be) appeared on or maybe above his "area".

I was very concerened, but it went away very quickly. That was about 3-4 months ago. Well just today, I realized it was back, but it seems a bit grosser. Does anybody know what it could be?

I'm not sure if I should take him to my vet or see what'll happen. I have a feeling he may not make it.

I am interested in getting a jersey heifer, I just need more info on them. I want to make sure I actually can handle a cow before taking one into my home. I was getting a cow for milk & I've already done lots research. If you have any info on jersey or milk cows, it's much appreciated.

Does anyone know of some good fundraising ideas for my rescue?

I thought of yard sales and auctions.

Also ideas. I am going to put flyers at the puplic library and at local petstores. Where else should should I put flyers? Also, please list some free classified ads sites. ANd some sites like: pefinder.com, pet-ark.com and pets 911.com. I was also looking for houston, tx pet magazines.
