Right now I have: 1 dog-Spud Bud 3 Cats-Grace & Purr, my house cats, and Dash a stray whom I've been feeding and will be getting neutered and possibly keep him as my own or find him a good home. 3 Parakeets- Melody, Peepers and Buttercup 1 Hamster- Snitchy 1 Rabbit- Sasha 2 ChinchillasLucy & Diego(fosters) 1 Lovebird-Lemondrop 5 Guinea pigs-Candy(mine), Double Stuff, Oreo, Valentina and Truffles (fosters) 1 Hedgehog-Mocha I hope to help out with a TNR (trap-neuter-realese) program & also volunteer for a few animal shelters. My number one goal is to spread the word on adoption before buying & spaying & neutering pets. My two Yahoo! Best type of phone for non-profit?
Cheapest, most cost efficient phone/service. I've heard VoiP is good. What about pre-paid cell phones? What's the cheapest way to go? We don't get too many calls (like a regular business) but do use about 7-10 hrs a week. Any suggestions?
3 AnswersCell Phones & Plans8 years agoGuinea pig questions?
I recently started a Y! group for the guinea pigs. Guinea Pig Rescue Connection is a group dedicated to guinea pig rescues. It's main purpose is to connect potential adopters to rescues and guinea pig owner to piggy-sitters and supplies, as well as assist in guinea pig transportation. You can also find information on the proper care of guinea pigs, such as housing and dietary needs, as well as get advice on bonding and other issues. NO BREEDING TOPICS ALLOWED. Please join the group! Help spread the word that guinea pigs need rescues too! We'd like to eventually have a weekly photo contest.
The group's called Guinea Pig Rescue Connection:

Anybody know his family history? Just curious, seeing as the Egyptian people are having their problems with him and his son possibly becoming president.

8 AnswersOther - Pets1 decade agoRescued older hamster?
I rescued an older male teddy bear hamster a little while back. Someone had dropped him off at a Petco & a lady took him home, but couldn't keep him, so she gave him to me, as I do animal rescue work for exotic pets.
Well some odd black/purpleish ball(I have no idea what it could be) appeared on or maybe above his "area".
I was very concerened, but it went away very quickly. That was about 3-4 months ago. Well just today, I realized it was back, but it seems a bit grosser. Does anybody know what it could be?
Here are some pics:

I'm not sure if I should take him to my vet or see what'll happen. I have a feeling he may not make it.
MATURE answers only, please.
Thanks for your help in advance.

I am interested in getting a jersey heifer, I just need more info on them. I want to make sure I actually can handle a cow before taking one into my home. I was getting a cow for milk & I've already done lots research. If you have any info on jersey or milk cows, it's much appreciated.
Thank you!
