  • question about shipping from the US to the UK?

I ordered a present for my boyfriend in England on the 15 from a website. It shipped on the 16 via the US postal service but it still hasn't arrived. Should I be concerned yet? When should I expect it to arrive? Thanks so much.

  • How to cash an out-of-state check?

My grandfather sent me a check for $100 for my graduation gift. The only problem is that it's from "Home Federal Bank," the nearest of which is too far away for me to go cash it. I don't have my own bank account yet, but I do have ID and whatnot, so how would I go about cashing this check? Thanks.

  • Question about where to find corsages for prom (publix-related)?

For anyone who lives down south a little, do you know if they sell corsages at Publix? If they do, do they have pre-made ones or do you HAVE to call and pre-order it?

  • Ocarina of Time Help?

I feel stupid for asking, but I'm stuck at the very beginning of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. So, the kid blocking the way to the Deku tree said that I needed a sword and shield before he'd let me leave. I went and found the sword and purchased the shield, but now when I go up to him, all he says is "You can't leave the forest! The great Deku tree says if someone leaves the forest, he or she will die!" Now what? e_o

  • Help me with a word problem?

A 39-ounce can of coffee requires 188.5 square inches of aluminum. If it's height is 7 inches, what is the radius? (The surface area A of a right circular cylinder is A=2xPixRadius^2 + 2xPixRadiusxHeight, where r is the radius and h is the height).

Woo-hoo! This is the last question of my summer packet. :) I have absolutely no idea where to even BEGIN with this question, so if anyone could help me, that'd be great. :D thankss.

  • How to solve (x^2)/(3x-2)=-2?

yepp. so, school starts tomorrow and I'm finishing up the last of my summer math packet.

Now, before you go all "do your homework yourself!" on me, I've actually done most of the 88 questions in the packet myself, I've just happen to run into a few that I don't understand. That's why, for the past couple of days, I've turned to you, users of yahoo answers. :) Thanks in advance.

  • Help me with my math homework? Please? ):?

Ok, so, I need help with simplifying a couple problems. I have 87 questions to do, but I'm only asking for help with a couple of them so that I can learn how to solve them and complete the rest myself, so don't be all like "do your homework yourself." Yeah.

Okay, so, the first problem is a^2-b^2/2a^3 divided by 4b-4a/a^3+a^2b. Second problem is radical14/5-radical35/2. I have no idea what to do with either of those problems, but I believe they're fairly basic, so if someone could show me how to do them that would be awesome. thanks. :)

  • How would I simplify/solve this problem? It's fairly simple?

    The problem is i/2-9i.

The problem doesn't seem very complicated, I just can't remember exactly what to do. If someone could explain the problem and answer it for me, that'd be great. (:

  • will you please help me figure out how much of this recipe I need?

I'm going to make Steak Diane tonight for my family and my boyfriend, but I'm not sure how much of the things in the recipe I need.

The recipe calls for 1 1/2 lb grilling steaks, 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup brown gravy, 2 tablespoons steak sauce, 1/4 cup red wine, 4 tablespoons of butter, and 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt.

    This makes 4 servings.

I'm not exactly sure how much one serving is.

I'm going to use 4 steaks, so how much of the things above would I need? I'm assuming I'm going to need more than what the recipe calls for.

Also, which steak sauce do you recommend I use? Thank you. (:

I'm taking a trip there this summer for 10 days, and I was just wondering if they worked there? Also, if you could tell me whether or not they worked in Denver, Colorado would be great, too, but I mainly wanna know about Washington. (: Thanks!
