  • Tongue piercing and dental surgery?

    Has anyone used a tongue retainer during dental surgery? I've been looking online and they seem like a good idea but would the hospital let me keep it in during wisdom tooth extraction? I have to have 3 teeth removed, would my tongue piercing heal up if I took the bar out altogether for the surgery? I've had it pierced for ten years, do they still heal up after that length of time?

  • Pet owners - what do YOU think? I'm getting very frustrated...?

    I can't believe the amount of people who ask questions about what's wrong with their sick/injured pet but when it's suggested that they take the poor animal to the vets their response is "I can't afford to...". I have always had money set aside for vets bills, they are a sad inevitability when being a pet owner. My attitude to this has always been if you can't afford the vet then you can't afford the pet, is it unrealistic for people to prepare for when things go wrong???
