Long story short, I love my dad (he's actually my step-dad) to pieces but I hate his family. He raised me from birth and still takes great care of me. He will always be my father, but his family... I pretty much disowned. When my baby brother was born (his only biological child), his family pretty much forgot about me and the older he & I got, the more they forgot about me. The last straw was my senior year when his family didn't acknowledge me when we went to their house. As soon as we closed the door, my mom talked with my dad about it because it was that obvious. It broke my heart for the last time.

When I became an adult, I refused to speak to them ever again. No more heartbreaking! The only time I talk to them, is when my dad hands me the phone (I try not to hurt HIS feelings) and even then, I short talk them. His mom literally just called me a few minutes ago to wish me a Happy Birthday today, and as usual, I just let it ring.

They always treated me like a piece of .... and they have talked so much crap about my family and it has caused me to hate them even more. I don't speak to any one of them and could give two ..... about them. I do feel really bad for ignoring his mom because she was usually really nice to me, but unfortunately she's guilty by association, along with my dad's siblings and their kids because at times, it feels like some of them stood by and watched it happen. I was a child! :(

I got tattooed over my spring break a couple of weeks ago and the tattoo artist was so fine. He is a little older than me and has his own place, and sounds like he has goals in life. We were "flirting" the whole time. He was like, "Ima tattoo my name first, then Ima tattoo yours next." and little stuff like that.

I'm really "interested" in him but I'm not sure if I should let him know. I saw him Thursday when I went to the shop and he was like, "Hey boo. Wassup?".

What should I do? Ask for the number? FB him (though I can't find it lol) Suggestions are welcomed!

I'm SO in love with the 2010 Camaro ! I mean .. I literally dream about it . Anyways, me & the bestie have been going back and forth about which car is better.

She wants a Challenger and just swears it's SO much better than the Camaro. I want a Camaro & I just KNOW lol that the Camaro is way better. :)

I'm 18 and I will be starting Community College in February. I've never had a job but I really need one, so I desperately need some tips.

Is it better to apply online or in person? I know for certain jobs, I will have to apply in person, so what do I need to wear? And do I fill out the application there or turn it in the next day?

And when applying in person, what do I do? Do I go up to one of the employees and ask for an application or do I ask for a manager and then ask for an application? And do I still apply if they aren't hiring or do I ask them if they're hiring?

I just really need some good tips.

What is the approximate percentage of people that use/used student loans? Almost everyone I know has them so I'm just curious about how high the percentage is.

And everyone keeps saying, "Get scholarships, get scholarships." but you won't win or qualify for every scholarship you apply for, so it's pretty hard :/

you have to make a choice between two things and you ask the person for advice and they say, "Well it doesn't matter to me what you pick. I don't care." And then when you pick something they get mad? lol

I started using birth control back in September. It had a negative affect on me (It caused me to have acne) so I went to the doctor and she prescribed Yaz.

I've seen the commercials about them recalling Yaz, but during my research, I've realized that a lot of women still use it.

So, for those that are using it, or have stopped using it, could you tell me if it had negative/positive affect on you? And also, is it still on the recall list? Is it still relatively safe to use?

Okay, so there's this 2 year college I want to attend in a neighboring state. They have a Fall B Semester and don't have any openings for On-Campus Housing.

I have $1200 in grants and $2400 in scholarships and tuition is a little over $5,000. So that leaves roughly $3600 that I would have to pay. So if I wanted to attend there, I have to get a loan obviously and an apt/some type of off campus housing. So if I were to get a loan, could the school make a package to where I can include rent & etc. in the loan package as if I were paying room and board?

Okay, so my father is in the military and about a year and a half ago, we got transferred from Georgia to Florida. I lived in Georgia for four years, from the 7th grade to the 11th grade. In the middle of my junior year, we moved to Florida and I just graduated high school from here in Florida.

The problem is that I want to go to college in the same city I just moved from (in Georgia), but they are considering me as Out-of State.

So, my question is, is there any type of waiver that they offer to military children like myself, so that I can get in-state tuition? Because my scholarships and fafsa will not be enough to pay for it. I'm going to get a job when I move there and because of how small the school is, there aren't anymore rooms available on campus, so I'm going to have to live off campus and that's definitely going to cost an arm, leg and foot ! It's just that I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to afford to pay for an apartment AND school .. ugh Please Help Me :(

I was watching tv when I saw this 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid Commercial. The car was green and there was a black girl driving it around town and at the end of the commercial she went to a bread store and bought some bread. While I was listening to the song playing in the background, I realized that it is actually this old hip hop song but they remixed it a little bit.

Now my question is, does anyone happen to know the name of that song because I've been looking for that song for years. No one in my family knows the name and it bugs me lol.I cant find the commercial on youtube so can somebody please help me out.

I want to get my hair braided and my mom wants to see a picture of what style I want, but I'm having trouble finding out what type of braids they're called. I know what they look like, but I just can't seem to put a name on them or find a picture of them on Google.

They are similar to micros [except they're a tad bit bigger than them.] They are not used with micro hair but I think they're used with hair that can be curled at the bottom..[I don't think it's synthetic]

I've seen so many people on myspace that have photo's that look like they've been professionally edited. Well, not professionally edited but they have their name on it and some cool looking designs. Ugh it's hard to describe. But do y'all know any free photo editing software that does good graphic designs?
