  • 04 chevy impala 3.8 oil leak help?

I have a 04 impala with the 3.8 engine that has a small oil leak coming from the rear of the engine on the passenger side, right by the power steering pump. It doesn't leave puddles on the ground, only a drop here and there. You can see it runs down the back of the engine to the oil pan area. Any ideas on how to trace this down or tell where exactly it is coming from? Are there any common oil leaks from this area on the 3.8 engine?

    Thanks, Scott

  • roofing nailer not advancing nails.?

I have a bostitch n45b roofing nailer and it will not advance nails. It will shoot one nail but won't advance the next one into the firing position. Have to open the gun up and move the nails and shoot again and same thing. What might be causing this problem? I'm not sure how the pawl works so don't know what to look at. I tried searching on the web because I thought this might be a common problem but didn't find much. Thanks for any help you might be able to share on why the nails aren't advancing.

  • dewalt angle grinder sparking problem?

    Hi,

I have a dewalt 7" angle grinder, model 28494. When I pull the trigger it works but it is shooting a lot of sparks from where the brushes are. I took it apart and looks like some of the plastic on the armature and field has melted and there is a bunch of plastic shavings in the case, not sure where they came from because I don't see any parts worn down. Could a new set of brushes fix this or because the armature and field look like they got heated up do you think they also need to be replaced? The armature is 90 bucks so don't think I would replace that, will try brushes but don't want to stick parts into it if you think it's going to need new armature. They are about 170 new and this one is pretty new so I wouldn't mind sticking a little money into it but don't want to stick a lot into it, would just get a new one.

    Thanks for any help

  • air stapler not firing.?

    Hi,

I have a bostitch s32sx air stapler that isn't firing. There are no air leaks when plugged in. When I pull the trigger I hear air come from the trigger and the driver doesn't move. I did a lot of research on how these guns work and from what I can tell the bumper isn't lifting up when the trigger is pulled to let air in the cylinder. I took the spring that holds the bumper down out to see what would happen and when I plug the gun up to air the driver works. I don't think it is the trigger because it isn't leaking air, just a small blast comes from the trigger when pulled but from what I have read that is normal. I think it has something to do with the bumper/exhaust area of the gun but not sure what. Any ideas on what to check or replace?

    Thanks, Scott
