  • Worried about mixing alcohol and Ativan (lorazepam)??

So I have anxiety pretty bad sometimes. I go through phases were I am taking lorazepam daily (usually only .5-1mg at most) because I'm extremely anxious and phases where I'm off the meds completely and feel fine. My doctor believes that my anxiety is attributed to having POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) but I'm not really sure. I'm going on vacation in a few months to Cabo and will be drinking alcohol. Now I don't plan on mixing the alcohol and lorazepam but I'm worried that I'll start feeling anxious and still have alcohol in my system. I don't know if I should take the lorazepam when I've had alcohol in my system or if I shouldn't drink at all (which would suck because that is the whole reason for going to Cabo). Maybe I'm just worrying too much and won't even need the lorazepam while I'm there, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Will something bad happen to me if I have both in my system at the same time?

  • Auto insurance rates?

I have not had a vehicle for more than a year and I've been riding my bicycle everywhere. I decided that I would be needing a vehicle because I am moving job locations and it isn't close to where I am living. I cancelled my previous insurance when I sold my old vehicle. My grandmother who is almost 90 has given up driving and gave me her old vehicle because she didn't want to go through the hassle of selling and didn't need the money. I'm trying to get online quotes and everywhere is quoting very high because I haven't had insurance in the past month. Is there anyway to get around this? I didn't have any insurance because I didn't have a vehicle and haven't even driven a vehicle in over a year. Also, I don't have the car yet. I'm trying to get the insurance on it before I go and get it. Also, I'm an unmarried 37 year old male who has never had a ticket or citation so my rates shouldn't be so high. The car is a 2001 Chevy Malibu with hardly any miles on it and I'm looking at liability only. I'm being quoted $50-$60 a month across the board (many different companies). This doesn't make sense as my girlfriend who has a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy and full coverage across the board is only paying around $100 a month and she has 2 speeding tickets on her record. Is there anyway around paying these extra fees for not having insurance this past year? Again I'm stating that I have not had a vehicle nor have I driven a vehicle this past year so I have had nothing to have insurance on

  • How to get a tan?

Okay so I am extremely fair skinned. I do not tan easily at all, but I also don't burn either. I can only ever remember having a sun tan maybe once or twice as a small child. The last few vacations I went on everyone else came back burnt to a crisp and I came back maybe one shade less pale than before (basically I was still really pale but less sickly looking). As a child I was really tan all the time, but that is because I was outside all day long and spent most of my days swimming in a pool. And my mom coated my body with sunscreen. The only time I have been able to be tan as an adult was by tanning in a tanning bed for 2 months straight before going on vacation. I literally had to tan almost everyday and paid lots of money for high pressure beds once a week on top of the regular beds daily. I didn't burn on that vacation and I was on the beach for a minimum of 4 hours everyday. I wore tanning oil with spf 4 the entire time (I know that isn't good). I also was using sunless tanner to make my tan look darker. But at the end of all of that I wasn't really that dark. Not even close to as dark as I was as a child. But anyway, I'm going on a cruise in October and I am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get even a little bit of a tan before I go without harming my body (and wallet) by using tanning beds for months before? Thanks in advance.

  • Will I have loose skin on my legs after weight loss?

Okay so I have had stretch marks since puberty. I first got them when I was 14 years old and maybe 105 lbs (probably around 5ft 3in at this time). I only ever really had them on my legs. Anywhere else I had them have completely faded and aren't visible. My weight when I graduated high school was around 112-115 lbs at which I was (and still am) 5ft 5in. I started college at around 100 lbs. I slowly started to gain over the next few years. Just over a year ago my top weight ranged anywhere from 130-135 lbs which isn't overweight for my height, but around 130 lbs I started getting more stretch marks on my legs. Like a ton of them. Inner thighs mostly and a few on the tops of my thigh that are really tiny. Now most of them have faded to white, but they are super noticeable. I have lost about 10 lbs (around 125 lbs now) and I'm still losing. I plan to lose until I reach around 110-115 lbs. Now that you have my background...my question is...am I going to have a ton of lose skin on my thighs? The skin has obviously been stretch to the point of damage. My butt, hips, and thighs are where I hold all my weight. I do a lot of weight training which will help trim the fat, but I'm still worried about possibly having lose skin on my thighs. There isn't much that can be done about it unfortunately. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance!

  • Car lease approval?

First off...please don't say anything about how dumb it is to lease a car. The car I'm planning on leasing (Subaru Legacy) is only $290 a month after taxes, etc. and after the 36 month term can be sold to me for only $9,999. I will have only paid around $11,000 for it by the end of the lease. The vehicle costs $29,000 and if I buy out the vehicle after the lease is up I'll only pay just over $21,000 for it. If I buy it and not lease for the first 3 years I'll be paying the entire $29,000 for it. I'm getting this great of a deal is b/c my dad works for the company. It makes sense to lease for the first 3 years. Anyway, I was approved for a Subaru Impreza 3 months ago (tier 1 credit/same day approval). I decided that with my commute at the time I should wait to get something. Now that I'm closer to work (1.5 miles) I'm looking at getting something. I'm 21 and I live with my fiancé. I pay $374 a month for rent plus utilities. I have credit cards (oldest 2.75 yrs) with a combined limit of $7750. All credit cards are paid off except one with a balance of around $750, which I'll pay off when I get paid next Friday. FICO estimated my credit score at 730. I've never made any late payments on anything and I make almost $40,000 a year. I have gov't student loans (roughly $9000) I pay monthly. I am putting $1650 down on the vehicle (money provided by Subaru because my dad works there). I didn't get approved right away like I did last time. Do you think I'll get approved? Been 2 days..

  • Car accelerates extremely slowly. It's not the transmission (had it checked)?

My car has been having issues lately. This first problem started more than 3 months ago. I have a very hard time getting it to speed up. It can take a good 10 minutes to get it up to 70 on the interstate (if it even gets there). Sometimes when I push on the petal it revs up the rpms but the car won't speed up (it will actually slow down). It is worse going up hills. To get it to speed up I have to push on the petal but just barely and it will slowly speed up. It usually takes 1-2 miles of driving before I can get it up to 40 mph. Also sometimes if I'm pushing too far down on the petal and the rpms rise without the car speeding up, I'll let off the gas petal and the car will make a clunking noise. Also, my car has just started having another issue lately (started this last month). The tailpipe rattles whenever my car is idling. I can pull into a parking spot and it instantly starts rattling really really loud. When I start driving the entire car shakes a bit and then it stops until I stop my car again. I've had the fuel injector replaced maybe 2 months before my car started having issues speeding up. Also I had new spark plugs recently and I had an exhaust leak fixed. My car started having issues speeding up the day I picked of my car from getting the exhaust leak fixed. The person who fixed it said I was crazy and my car was speeding up fine. I'm almost convinced he didn't hook up something right after fixing the exhaust leak. Who knows. Anyone know what is wrong with my car?

  • Vaginal infection?

Over several months I have had what I assume to be recurrent yeast infections. Basically itching and no other symptoms. For 2 months or more I have been free of all symptoms until a few days ago. As I was shaving I noticed a white gunk inside of my vagina. I thought it was leftover toilet paper or something so I sort of fished it out and it went down the drain. Over the next day or so I started to notice a slight itch/discomfort right inside of my vaginal opening. I happened to look inside again later and noticed a bit more white stuff. So I though great another yeast infection. I went to grab a q-tip to get the white stuff out and when I swabbed the area I saw blood on the q-tip. I am not on my period and I haven't noticed any spotting in my underwear since. When I looked closer the area looked like it might be infected but I couldn't tell for sure. I haven't looked at it since yesterday but I've had mild itching/discomfort off and on all day. I am sexually active but have been with the same man for awhile. Although I have never been tested for stds, all the people I've ever been with have. I'm not ruling out possibly having an std though because you never know. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong with me? I can't go to a doctor for several weeks because of my work schedule (70+ hrs/week). I also haven't had sex for awhile so I know there probably isn't a vaginal tear from that. And I checked for bacterial vaginosis several times with each test coming out negative.

  • Still tired after sleeping?

I usually sleep anywhere from 8-10 hours and average 8.5-9ish. I rarely ever sleep more than 10 hours. I don't have to wake up until 8:45 in the morning, which seems late to me considering that I am an adult. When I was a teenager I was up before 7 every morning for school. But anyway, my alarm goes off at 8:45 and I always feel super groggy and tired still. If I get outta bed right away or stay in bed for another 20 minutes, I am still groggy for at least the next hour. Then I sorta wake up while at work, but I still am not very energized. Then around 4-5pm I start getting pretty tired again. Unfortunately I can't take a nap because I am still at work. I usually work everyday for 8-11 hours, but I take lots of breaks because I am there so long. Even when I have days off (which is rare now) I still feel tired more than a person should. I know I don't have sleep apnea and I don't snore so that isn't keeping me awake. My fiancé snores, but I wear earplugs and it completely drowns out the noise so I know it isn't that. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm 20 years old if that helps, and I don't have any medical issues that I know of. I'm not over/underweight, and I'm not really stressed about anything at the moment.

  • Washing machine only uses hot water?

Had my washer/dryer hooked up today. Threw a load in and set the settings to cold water. When the load finished I opened the washer and all my clothes were steaming hot. I thought maybe the lines were switched on accident and so the next load I did I set the washer to hot water. Started out cold, but then by the time it was done, the clothing was extremely hot again. The place I moved into is brand new and it is an apartment complex. The washer worked perfectly fine before I moved. It is a front loader if that makes any difference. Also, the plug for the washer is a 3 prong and I had to get a converter because the plug in the wall is a 4 prong. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

  • Do I have to give back purchased items when filing bankruptcy?

I'm filing bankruptcy (ch 7) and I purchased a diamond ring on a credit card. This is the only card I have been able to keep up on (no late payments, at least paying minimum, etc.). The person I purchased the ring for is long gone and I have no idea where she is or what she did with the ring. Am I required to give the ring to the courts for them to sell for money to pay off my other debts? The ring initially cost around $14,000 and I have around $8,000 left to pay on it. It's definitely worth some money. However I have no idea how I would get it back. I assume myself that my ex has sold it, but I wouldn't know because there is no way for me to get ahold of her. I would continue to pay this card debt off and not include it in my bankruptcy if possible, however I'm sure other creditors would have an issue with that and not allow me to do so.

  • Do I have to file bankruptcy on all my credit cards?

I plan on filing bankruptcy and I already know that I will be forced to foreclose on my house. I have a lot of credit card debt, but I have a card that I purchased my fiancé a diamond ring on. I always pay the payment on time and there is no interest for another 3 years. Do I have to file bankruptcy on that card if I'm paying it on time?

  • Bankruptcy Questions?

So my boyfriend has quite a bit of debt. Some from his previous marriage (he is now divorced) and some because he doesn't make a lot and he has a lot of bills. He lives very frugally, but it took a huge toll on him financially going from 2 incomes (his and his ex-wife's) to 1 income. He lost his job fairly recently because the business he worked for closed, but he was able to find another one fairly quickly. Unfortunately it is over 1.5 hours away from his house. Imagine the amount of money he is spending on gas (and he drives a pickup truck!). He doesn't make very much money, but he is able to barely scrape by. I do occasionally pay for his gas/bills because I make more and really care about him, but it upsets him because he doesn't want it to be my burden. He has over $10,000 in credit card debt. Let me mention he hasn't used any of his credit cards for over a year. He can only afford to make minimum payments on all of his credit cards, which isn't getting him anywhere. He has roughly the same amount of debt as the year prior because of the amount of interest. We are both planning on moving closer to out jobs and apartment prices are sky high. More than double his house mortgage payment. He most likely won't be able to sell his house as he wasn't able to previously and he can't afford both payments. He wants to know if he is able to file bankruptcy even though he is paying all of his bills (sometimes late and always minimum payments)? He doesn't care if he loses his house.

  • Is it a yeast infection?

If you get grossed out then I would stop reading right now. Okay so anyways, I get yeast infections frequently. I usually don't have discharge with them, just the burning and itching. Today I went to the restroom and when I looked down I was horrified to see that there was a white discharge all over my vagina. And by all over I mean coming out of the vaginal opening and in between the folds of my vagina. From what I have read about yeast infection discharge, it is thick and cottage cheese like...gross. But this is more like a light lotion consistency. Sometimes after sex I notice discharge similar to this coming from me, but not in this amount. And I haven't been particularly aroused today. So I am just wondering if this is possibly a yeast infection or not??? By the way I have absolutely no itching or burning at all like I usually do when I get yeast infections.

  • Getting name off of car loan?

My boyfriend just opened up a checking/savings account at a different bank. When he did so, they noticed that he had a loan under his name for which he still owes almost $8000 on. Come to find out, this is a loan on his ex-wife's vehicle they purchased when they were still married, and it just so happened that the loan was with this particular bank. She is still making payments on time every month, but he does not want his name on the loan anymore. His vehicle is collateral for the loan and even though he is sure she will continue paying the payments on time, he still doesn't want to risk her not doing so. He thought this was taken care of when they got divorced as she got the vehicle and he got the house (her name is no longer on the house/mortgage). How can he go about getting his name off? He talked to her already and she said she wouldn't care if he was removed from the loan, so there isn't any issues there. He says thanks in advance!

  • Removing red from hair?

I am a natural medium blonde, but occasionally I dye my hair. I usually either get it done at a salon or have my mom do it. Seems to usually turn out decent either way. Last time I had my hair done it turned out great. Unfortunately it didn't last long because my boyfriend has hard water at his house. A large strip of my hair turned a nasty orange/red. My hair is really long, but the redness doesn't start until maybe 5-6 inches from my scalp and goes down to the ends of my hair, just in the back. I initially purchased a malibu treatment from Sally's and used it on my hair. Didn't work. So I tried the ascorbic acid (vitamin c) treatment. Again it didn't work. After that I purchased another malibu treatment, this time from a friend who works in a salon. Did it at home because I work all day everyday and didn't have time to sit in a salon forever. Well, that didn't seem to work either. All this time I've been washing my hair with toning shampoo as well to try to at least lighten the red tint. Nothing is working. Is there anything else I can do to get rid of the red tint? I was thinking of dyeing my hair a light/medium brown, but I'm thinking the red might still show through. How can I get rid of it? I'd cut my hair, but I don't want to have a bob haircut. Please help! Thanks!!

  • What are my chances at getting a car loan?

I am only 19 years old and I want to get a car loan. I have been living on my own since I was 17 and have had my current vehicle since then. I didn't have a loan on it because I bought if for 3,000 dollars and paid it in cash. I have a job with a base salary of 22,400 dollars a year. I make commission so my average paycheck (every two weeks) is anywhere from 850 to 1300 dollars after taxes. I also have a second job but the pay is only 7.50 an hour, and I only work one day a week. So the check is very small and doesn't count for too much. I have had a credit card, four total, for well over a year so I do have established credit. I checked my annual credit score from the three credit bureaus and my credit was ranked average for each one because I have never had any loans/mortgages or a credit card for a long period of time. I have never made a late payment and I have not had any negative dents in my credit history. Also, all of my credit cards are paid off completely. I have absolutely no unsecured debt. The only debt I do have are my federal student loans, which won't be paid back until I finish school. I will not have a cosigner because no one in my family has good credit or wants to do that for me. Also, I live by myself, so I have an apartment payment. The only bills I have are rent, electric, car insurance, gas, and groceries. I can pay all of my bills and have money left over in just one paycheck. So I have a whole second paycheck to work with. I am wondering what my chances are of getting a loan. Thanks in advance!

I eat clean and I want to change my body composition. More muscle, less fat. I don't want to lose weight, just shift my BMI a bit. I haven't worked out in a long time and I do not have a gym membership? Can anyone give me a workout routine. I will work out everyday except Sunday and Wednesday, my busiest days. I plan on getting a gym membership soon during the winter. I also like interval running. I am a female. 19 years old and weigh anywhere between 110-115 lbs. 5'5" tall.

  • Thermogenic help???????

I am not overweight but I am trying to lose fat and gain a little bit of muscle. Basically I want to stay the weight I am but shift my BMI. I eat clean and exercise regularly. I work a lot so I am often very tired getting up in the mornings. I have been experimenting with different thermogenics to help give me energy before working out. I read all the ingredients before buying them to make sure they are safe. The problem I have been having is that I am not getting that boost of energy I need before my workouts from any of the thermogenics I have tried. Caffeine doesn't really affect me either. I can take in enormous amounts of caffeine and can fall asleep 20 minutes later. I was wondering if there were any other thermogenics that would possibly give me the energy I want. And if you are going to sit here and tell me thermogenics are unsafe and ineffective don't bother answering the question because I've talked to my doctor about it and gotten approval from him and I'm not expecting it to make me lose fat, I am using it as a boost of energy.
