Is it me,or have you noticed people seemed to be more rude,more detached than ever before?What kind of experiences with people have you had that were like that?

What do you feel about a night time wedding? Words I hate:

I hate the word breakfast. It just sounds weird to me.I hate this word so much that I'll go out of my way not to use it. Instead I say,"Wanna get a bit to eat?"

And I don't like the word Lunch. It reminds me of the word Lurch.

6 cloves fine chopped garlic

Chopped pickles

2 stalks chopped celery

3 small tbsp dukes mayo

3 tbsp's of whats called sub salad oil ( evoo with green herbs in it)

2 tbsp dry red pepper flakes

Couple shakes dry lemon pep seasoning

All mixed and incorperated,and a thick cut of red onion on toasted country white oatmeal bread

Shoshanna.I was reading it's Jewish; but when I hear it; it reminds me of a native Indian name. Do you like it/hate it? What is your initial reaction to this name?

I have a cousin that's one yr. younger then me.I'm 36.We have always had a pretty distant relationship due to the way we were raised(not our fault).We recently connected a few weeks back after she stopped coming and visiting me for like a year. I've always been there, like her psycho-therapist. She has a lot of problems in her life (she brings them on herself); so I try to listen and give sound advice. But I always feel she never listens to me.She's never interested in what's going on in my life(she pretends to); but she's not sincere. She seems to,underneath, hate/admire me b/c my life is going well; and her's is not; well that's what I pick up anyway.

Fast forward, she has Tuesdays & Sundays off. She never calls me on those days b/c I feel she thinks I will ask her to come over;and she'd have to find an excuse not to. But she loves calling me after she gets out of work so she can spill all the gossip/hate about her slack husband and how much she hates her mother. I just feel used; and very sad. I've tried to make a connection with her b/c she is my only family member. I feel it's a lost cause. She's just full of drama, and I don't like those sorts of people. Have you ever dealt with someone in your life like this? How did you go about handling it? Any advice would be helpful thanks.:)
