  • Laptop bridging?

I have a fully working laptop and one where the screen doesn’t work. At times I turn it on and the screen works, sometimes it doesn’t. However, I’m running out of patience when I need to use this specific computer so I would like to transfer needed files and trash this one for good. Could I access this laptop with a USB bridging cable? Enter the password and transfer files freely? Or is taking out the hard drive a necessity at this point? If any other cables are needed for this please let me know. All methods are appreciated. Thank you.

  • Theft in my apartment ?

I do not have renters insurance since I supposedly live in the safest building possible. With almost bulletproof glass I never looked into it. A bag with valuable items of approximately $50k was stolen and I know it was my landlord/owner. Is there a way to file a claim through their own insurance or the buildings association? Civil suit? And if so against who? Although there were more things stolen, to me that bag carries the most value. Any productive tips are immensely appreciated.

  • Can you attract someone using The Law of Attraction...?

Can you attract someone using The LOA that you haven’t met in person? Long distance relationship type of thing. If so, please share methods or links to recordings that help with the meditation process etc etc. Also any affirmations that people have used personally and found to bring results, would be great!

    Serious answers would be appreciated.

  • What does The Bible say about sleeping with a prostitute....?

    I’m not the religious type.

But, today I spoke with a hooker, and she of course offered to come home with me. All of a sudden God came to mind. Yes, I know the Bible would say it’s wrong. But does it make any reference to it being “more” wrong because she’s a prostitute? Is it worse than just fornication itself? Or is it just as bad? I’m not trying to measure sin levels, but curiosity made me wonder if it’s worse. Constructive feedback is what I am seeking. A discussion. Not clowns bashing religion.

  • Steroid injection site sore?

I’m a younger male who started taking steroids a few months ago. No I’m not a junkie, I simply enjoy the feeling and extra boost I get while at the gym. Results are great etc. etc.

However, I have stopped to allow my body and hormones to return to a normal state. Yesterday and today the injection site is incredibly sore. It’s been about 3-4 weeks since my last dose of test and Deca. Anyone with an educated opinion or thoughts on the matter is really appreciated.

Anyone counterproductive and negative will be flagged. Thank you for taking the time to read.

  • Engine replaced due to “bad valves”?

I had an engine replaced due to bad valves, that’s what the mechanic said. No problem. Car felt great, lots of power and speed. Now with the brand new engine at only 4K miles of use seems to have the same clicking, knocking or whatever the sound is described seems to have returned. WTF!?!? What are the chances that valves went bad at only 4K miles? Anybody have an educated answer? The first engine only had 50k original miles. That was already surprising enough. But a new engine with 4K seems outrageous to be failing! Any experienced opinions care to share what the root cause could be? Should i be worried at 4K miles? Or am I just paranoid after all the initial trouble? Someone please prove me wrong.

    Car is a 2016 X5 3.0 liter twin turbo.

Also this sound comes and goes. It’s not steady. Only happens at about 2nd and 3rd gear then goes away. Doesn’t happen every time I accelerate. Only randomly. Can valves really quit this soon? Or can it be something else causing the valves to quit?

Yes it was covered under warranty, yes I know it’s a high compression engine and only put 91 or whatever year is highest at the pump. Nothing less. Most asked why on earth would the entire engine be replaced for a new one. It was all covered under warranty, so I let them do it. What I don’t understand is how the sound left when the new engine was put it and now seems to have returned? It doesn’t make any sense that an engine would fail this soon. Regardless of how hard you may think I drive it.

  • Diagnosed with severe vertigo. And can’t work.?

However, those bills keep coming in

And my most crucial one which is a car payment is 7 days away. Even with a miracle I won’t be able to make this payment. Does anybody have any idea or steps I may take to not ruin my good standing? I’m no sure when I’ll be able to work again, I can barely go to the restroom. My main question is if anyone has been unable to make a car payment? Insurance payment but unabale to, due to a valid reason. What they did to accommodate this with their bank, loaning entity, etc etc.... thank you.

  • BMW got engine replaced.?

So I took my car in for what I believed was a “knocking sound”

At first they said they didn’t know what it was when it got worse I told them they needed to figure it out before giving me the car back. Hey said it was a “timing” issue and the software was update to correct it. Keep in mind I drove the car for nearly 20k miles with this sound. I take it back because the car was shaking while idling. And still making the sound. They tell me the valves were bad and the engine was replaced. I don’t really care because this is all under warranty. But, are there any issues I should expect from replacing an engine? I now have a new engine and the rest of the car has 45 k parts on it. Tranny, belts etc etc.... am I facing a lifetime of issues now? Or am I okay? I don’t know much about cars. My point is I have an engine putting out more power than before with older engine parts around it. Please let me know from your experience or professional opinions.

  • Vehicle registration??

If I have my car registered in one state and register the car in another, does the second registration make my initial one void?

I need to work out of state and my boss wants my car registered where I will be working. Will my current registration be valid once I come back in 6 months. It's good for a year. But I'm wondering if I will have to register once again in my current state? Or can I just come back and change the license plates out like nothing happened?

  • Small fender bender?

I side swiped a car today in miami, Florida. It was parked and my judgment of the distance I had was off. My car is scratched entirely on one side. The other has a small dent and very little paint damage on the side. Possibly won t even notice right away. I left a note saying what happened. I can t afford to pay for it but I take full responsibility and willing to pay over time. Any ideas guys? Do the cameras work and saw everything. Everyone around me was saying to not leave the note that it was no big deal. But I wouldn t want the same to happen to me so that s why I left my info.

  • I would like to find a lost friend.?

We were good friends during college, due to an accident I had we lost all contact. We spoke on the phone afterwards on rare occasions and e-mailed. Soon, to cut all contact when I changed my phone number and they're e-mail no longer works. I have the first and last name and the e-mail that once worked but nothing else. Does anybody know how I can find my friend. They are 24 years old and could be living in Arizona or California. That's is all the info I have. Anybody, if they can give me advice on how I can go about the search would be greatly appreciated.
