A robin built a nest on a lamp on my balcony. we dont use it much, so i thought we wouldnt scare her off and i let her leave it. She laid three eggs, incubated them and they all hatched. If i noticed she was out of the nest i would sneak up there and take a picture. Now i havent seen her in days, the nest is falling apart and the babies are gasping and looking terrible. the local DOW cant help as robins are not protected... "circle of life kinda thing" they said. i feel really bad and so do my kids. is there anything i can do? (even its to help them die humanely we would appreciate advice on that, too. its hard to just watch them suffer slowly. its cold out there at night.)

This is a question i was recently posed with. I am not sure if it is a word game or what. Whats back left heel mean? Anybody have ANY ideas?? Im stumped.

why did vegans not only choose vegetarianism, but "go all the way?"

why do veggies not choose veganism? (are you not supporting cruelty to animals even if you do not eat their flesh?) just curious as to your reasons and convictions. personally, i am vegan, in case youre wondering.

I know it says it's non-toxic on the label, but it also says it should not be ingested. My neighbor is convinced it will harm his dog. Could it?

I think it was in the 60s or 70s. He was a businessman with a wife and children who lived in the suburbs. When he'd go out killing, he took along his young son to assist. Meanwhile, the little wife was at home cooking dinner... any ideas?
