  • Why do you suppose Im having negative dreams about my daughter?

Just my daughter (11) and not my son (9). I love them both so incredibly much! They are both compassionate, funny, smart all around wonderful kids!! These dreams most always involve her beating me up, last night with a dumbell! She never attacks me in real life and I do feel loved by her. Ive had this dream often for a couple 2 or 3 weeks now and disturb me soo much!

  • Whats your take on giving your love access to your phone, email, facebook?

Whether anytime or by request? Does the amount of time you've been together alter your feelings or are there any other things it may depend on for you?

  • Do you think this is a reasonable ultimatum?

Im not one to give ultimatums typically however here is the story:

My boyfriend was on the phone with a woman. It was not flirtatious until the end when eh called her "cutie". I obviously didn't react thrilled about it but I also didn't flip a switch.

His side was the typical reaction a man would give at that point...he claimed it was just something to say,she isn't even cute, he loves and wants only me, he is sorry, wont so it again. Im sure most of you are familiar with those conversations. Any and every time Ive had a problem he would apologize, promise to cool it and he always follows through. Though it never involved him calling another woman a cutie. Im sure he will stop IN FRONT OF ME but what about when Im not around? But thas not my question as no one can forsee the future or truly know if his intentions were harmless or not but I think we can all agree its disrespectful. I nearly left however I told him to introduce me to her as his gf at church (That's where he knows her from apparently). He agreed but of course will it be "cutie" I meet?

  • Parents...Who would pay the fines?

So just hypothetical (my kids arent drivers so no advice needed)

Your kid loses his/her license or permit. Do you pay the fines yourself or have your kid find a way to make the money on their own? If you pay would there be a sort of punishment or other arrangement or simply pay it bc its your kid or bc its actually more convemient for you if they can drive?

  • Advice for a non Christian going to church with Christian bf?

I will also be meeting his parents for the first time. Hes big in the church and not just the guy that sits in the seats. I am spiritual but dont believe in the story of Jesus except the prophet aspect. I respect him and the positive things he does. I want to be involved and supportive without pretending to believe something i dont and as a former Christian I know how this will play out. I just dont want to embarrass him. Whats your advice?

  • Any advice for an agnostic going to a Chriatian church with her bf and family?

I will be meeting his family for the first time at church sunday. My bf is big in his church and i respect nim and all the positive things he does. God is in my life and i am spiritual, however not Christian. I of course plan on fully participating out of respect however I worry I may be seen as fake. I dont want to embarrass him. I want to be sincere however not sure how to handle the parts where im asked about Jesus and where I stand. For the record i view him as a prophet who did good however minus the powers.
