  • Free transfer of music from ipod to new PC?

Hi, my old computer died a dramatic death and I have a new laptop. Have downloaded iTunes and would like to get music off my iPod and onto computer.

I have done this before but can't remember the website.

All the ones I have been looking at say they're free but, after downloading, say they will only transfer 10 songs - I have 800 songs to transfer.

I would also like a reputable site because many of them look very dodgy indeed.

Thanks for any advice but please, NO ADVERTISEMENTS!!

  • Quit smoking 10 weeks ago and body seems to be shutting down?!!?

With the help of Champix, I haven't had a cigarette for almost 11 weeks.

The trouble is I feel like crap. I am very bloated and my hands and feet hurt from fluid retention. My skin is breaking out. Sometimes I cough and it feels like I've smoked 50 cigarettes in a row.

Is this the toxins coming out or should I go to the doctor so he can check my liver/kidneys?

  • Nokia e63 or e71 - which is better for me?

Nokia e71 is so much more expensive - is it worth it?

I just want a phone that I can play iTunes on. I'm not too picky about camera would only use internet very occasionally. GPS would be nice. Oh, and I'd like to have conversations on it.

Would I be happy with e63?

  • Track Changes in Word document?

I have a manuscript that has been edited.

Her changes are on the right hand side in little boxes.

I've figured out to right-click the box and accept or delete the change.

Sometimes, though, the accept/delete functions are greyed out and can't be used.

    Any suggestions for that?

Also, how do I make changes - I want that little box to come up to draw my editor's attention to those changes. I can type straight into the manuscript but, again, she might not notice the change.

  • Why do I have to enter password every time with Yahoo?

My computer used to be configured that I'd just click on the Yahoo icon and it would open.

Now I need to log on every single time.

Yes the box underneath to keep me signed in is checked.

It does perform autofill function and remembers my password.

It's just irritating - any thoughts?

  • Could quoting newspaper article be considered libel?

I am publishing a book. In it, there is unfavourable accounts of a certain family. I have quoted directly from newspaper articles. If information is in the public domain, could I get in trouble for libel or slander?

  • When will we know who is ruling Australia?

I'm confused with this hung parliament and thought I'd find answers on YA but it's all bloody Americans complaining about Obama. Why can't people around the world understand that governments changed on brink of GFC, engaged in a stoopid war and with an almighty job on their hands. Do we really want Bush and Howard back? Give em a go, fools!

Australia is but a blip on the global radar but I just wanna know when a decision will be made and, when it's made, will it be either ALP or Coalition leading with the Greens? It's not going to be wholly ALP or Liberal government? Is it like the "show me the money" scene in Jerry Maguire with both parties desperately trying to woo independents?

    Please explain.

I googled it but it said "abscondence" which sounds wrong.

Any alternatives to a noun that refers to a convict escaping his master?

  • How do I insert picture into text?

I am using the old style Windows and would like to insert a picture on the side of the text to save space, rather than between lines of text.

Again, it's not Office 2007 - does anyone know how to do that?

  • Prosthetic leg in mid 19th century?

I'm wandering where to get information on how a man who had his leg shot off from knee down in 1838 would have managed to get around?

    Were prosthetics around then?

Would he have hobbled around on a peg leg?

Would this have necessitated a walking stick as well?

  • Prosthetic leg in late 19th century?

I'm wandering where to get information on how a man who had his leg shot off from knee down in 1838 would have managed to get around?

Would he have had a peg leg like a pirate?

    Did prosthetics exist then?

  • Virus called Trojan horse FakeAV.CGT?

I have the free version of AVG as well as Malwares and it's picked up this virus which keeps popping up. I keep scanning, it finds it, puts it in the virus vault, I empty the virus vault and then it pops up again a few days later, usually upon opening the computer.

    Any advice?

  • my computer is infected?

I can't open anything, including google, as a pop-up keeps coming up saying that file is infected and do I want to update my antivirus now. That takes me to a website I don't know and it costs a minimum of $50 to update antivirus and I'm nervous about putting credit card details on. I have Malware anti spyware - it didn't detect anything. I also have AVG from free download but I can't open it as computer tells me the site is infected.

    What to do?
