  • Need Help Planning Disney World Trip?

My husband and I decided that we're going to take our daughter (who will be three) for our first Disney World family vacation but I have NO idea where to start and so I have some questions for all of you Disney experts out there.

First off, I have no clue what month to visit Disney World. My hubby is leaving it all up to me when we go but since my daughter will be three years old, I have the flexibility to go any time of year. I know that Disney World is crowded every day of the year, but I'm wondering when is the least crowded? Plus, we don't want to go when it's super hot. So, when is the best time?

Second, I have no idea where to stay. I have some people telling me that I can save a ton of money by renting a house or getting a hotel outside of the park but I'd really like to get the whole "experience" plus the perks of staying in the park. I would like something that is more than just a basic room so that I can take my toddler back to the room to rest if she needs to and she will have room to play and we'd like a microwave and refridgerator in the room.

Third, I've heard about "all inclusive" deals with park tickets and dining. I know that I'm not the first person to come here and say that I'm on a budget but I am absolutely looking for the best price. I don't want to go "cheap" per se, but I do want to take my time and look for the best deal possible. We were going to wait until my daughter was a little older so that she'll be able to remember more but we've decided that the magic will be there for her at this age and we'll take her back again in a few years.

So anyway, any help at all would be welcomed because I have no clue where to start. Thank you in advance to anyone who has read this far and has some advice or recommendations for me. Have a great day.

  • Best camera for toddler pictures?

OK, I hope that I can explain what I'm looking for. First off, my budget is $200 and I know that this is tight but I'm hoping that I can get at least a couple of recommendations. I need a point and shoot or an easy to learn bridge camera that has auto settings. I'm not a professional, I just want to get some good pictures of my baby girl.

1st - I want a camera that will take a picture the very second that I take a picture, not a half second later and therefore I lose the picture that I wanted.

2nd - I want a camera that I can take one picture right after another without having to wait 7 seconds for it it "be ready" again.

Those are really the two most important things to me. Yes, I want a decent picture quality and zoom but I just need the speed.

Thanks in advance for everyone who leaves a helpful response.

  • Are there any beach towns that don't charge an arm and a leg for hotel rooms?

I am looking for someplace on the East Coast of the U.S. anywhere from New Jersey all the way down to Maryland. I don't care if it's touristy or desolate or whatever. I just need to find a cheap place to take my sister for her graduation because she has never seen the ocean. I have no idea what I'm looking for but am hoping that someone out there can give me some ideas. I have spent hours looking through books and searching online and all of the "popular" places are WAY out of my price range. There probably isn't anyplace that doesn't charge out the wazoo but I'm trying to find something because I took my brother to the beach years ago for his graduation and now I need to do the same for her even though I don't have much money right now. And I'm not looking for beach front properties, just places that are within driving distance of the ocean where I can find a cheap room. I thank you in advance for any suggestions.

  • Recommend quiet area near Ocean City?

Can anyone recommend a beach in Maryland that is within driving distance to Ocean City but is quieter and possibly less expensive. Going around graduation but don't want to be around all of that partying. Thanks!!!

  • Ocean City, Maryland or the Jersey Shore?

Taking my sister to the beach for her graduation present. Which beach is nicer, Ocean City or the Jersey Shore? Plus, will you recommend attractions and nice hotels for the one you pick? Thanks in advance!

  • What is the name of this kind of puzzle? It's driving me nuts!?

Ok, when I was in elementary school my teacher used to give out these puzzles that were like logical deduction grids. I hope I can explain it so that I can be understood. Anyway, there would be this grid with 6 or 8 peoples names and then a grid with details at the top. We then had little paragraphs about each person and then had to deduce from that little bit of information which person had glasses or which had red hair, or which had a grandma named Sue, etc. I'm just using these as examples of course. By the end of the puzzle, each person could only have 1 checkmark in the grid beside their name.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? And if so, what are those puzzles called and where can I find some? Thanks so much for your help and I hope I was able to explain myself correctly.

  • Beatles Rock Band Question? Help!?

We just got Beatles Rock Band today and our Beatlemania aka "Star Power" won't work. We are doing everything it says to do but it's not working. Is there a button that you can push to make it work like there is in Guitar Hero or is the only way to do it by lifting up the neck of the guitar? I really don't want to have to pack everything back up and order a new set. Any advice?

We are more used to playing Guitar Hero and not Rock Band but we're doing exactly what the instructions say and it's not that different from Guitar Hero.

  • Does anyone know why AT&T doesn't sell Razrs anymore?

I really need a new phone because my current one is dying a slow death (due to my clumsiness). Anyway, I love my Razr and don't want to have to learn a brand new phone. So, I go to AT&T''s site and they don't sell Razrs anymore. Does anyone know why? Or where I can get one that would work with my AT&T account? Thanks!

  • Refinancing Question, Please Help?

I am REALLY stupid and have no idea what I'm doing and I don't know if this is the right place to find an answer to a question this important but oh well..

First off, we have a 30 year mortgage with a fixed rate of 6.175%. November will be 3 years since we've been in our home. And even though we have great credit, we do have a substantial amount on credit cards. We are expecting our first baby and really want to get rid of our credit cards fast and we wondered if our current bank would refinance our home loan and wrap our credit cards into the mortgage. Alot of our credit card debt came from expenses of building the new home in which we have the mortgage on and I don't know if that matters or not. Also, the interest rate they are offering now is only 5.50% so it's not very much lower than we're paying now but if we can get them to wrap those credit cards in with it, do you think that it would be worth it? Please don't judge us, we have never been late on any payments, not even a water bill. We are just trying to start out fresh and we have learned our lesson about those evil credit cards. It's a shame that we weren't late on our payments or the government might have paid if for us!!! Thanks for all serious answers!!!

  • Need Help Choosing Flowers?

We are having a baby shower on August 8. The colors are pink and purple. I was hoping to have some sort of potted flower in the middle of each table not only for decoration but also to give as prizes for people to take home. I guess I need help figuring out what kind of flowers I can find that will be in bloom during this time and that come in pink and purple. Thanks in advance.

  • What kind of tree to plant in honor of our baby?

I am 20 weeks pregnant with a little girl and my husband and I would like to plant a tree this season in honor of her so that she can watch it grow as she grows. What type of tree should we plant? We want something sturdy and strong and that will eventually be large. It doesn't have to be a fast grower, we just want a nice kind of tree.

I should add that we live in Western PA near Pittsburgh in case region matters. Thanks so much in advance!

  • Can you straighten up rows of crops on Farm Town?

I must admit, I'm addicted to Farm Town on Facebook but when I first started I was just doing it to make a friend happy and my plowed plots are all out of whack. Is there any way that I can move them so they are straight or do I have to delete them and start completely over again?

  • Stupid Idea for a Baby Shower Game?

We are having a little girl so I thought a cute idea for a baby shower game would be to come up with songs named after girls and have the guests guess who sang them. My mom thinks that this is stupid but I think it's a really cute idea. What are your opinions?

Does anyone have any other ideas for other unique shower games? Thanks!

  • Rh factor in pregnancy?

    Hello,

This entire Rh factor thing flips me out and I don't understand it at all. I am 10 weeks pregnant and my blood type is B+. Do I need to worry that there will be a problem with mine and the baby's Rh factors not being compatible? Unfortunately, I have no idea what my husband's blood type is. This is going to sound rude, but if you're not sure, please don't answer. Thanks so much in advance.

  • Need Help Coming Up With Perfect Baby Boy Name. Help?

I don't want anything super weird but I don't want a Top 100 name either. I have a ton of girl names picked out but all of the boy names that I had picked out years ago are popular now (took along time to get pregnant). I was leaning towards Liam but now I'm seeing that name everywhere and it's #86 on the popularity list. I almost cried the other day when I saw an Eggo commercial and the little boy's name was Liam :(

So anyway, any thoughts on original but not freaky boy names??? Thanks!!!
