3 dams retain the following areas of reservoir. All the reservoirs are 1M deep.

Dam 1 = 1M^2

Dam 2 = 2M^2

Dam 3 = !0M^2

How strong must each dam be to withhold these 3 different volumes of water?

Does the force acting on a dam change if the area of water is increased, but the depth remains the same?

Imagine a tank of water measuring 2M long x 1M wide x 1M high.

If I constructed a dam, which divided the tank,leaving 1 cubic meter of water on one side and I drained the other side, what forces would be acting on the dam at the following depths;

0cm, 10cm, 20cm, 30cm, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, and 100cm

Does the force acting on the dam change if the area of water increases, but remains 1M deep? If so, how would the results compare if the area was 2 square Meters, or 10 square Meters?

Is there anmp3 player with shuffle feature, but not the i-pod.

I just want something cheap, that will skip through tracks randomly. I don't mind what size or memory type.

I want to transmit video in real time so people sitting by the TV can interact with the cameraman. So audio transmits and receives in both directions, video signal transmits and receives in one direction.

This is for a treasure hunt type game I am planning for family and friends. The signal must be wireless, travel up to 100 meters, pass through walls and ceilings etc, be reasonably good quality.

I would like to know what equipment I need to achieve this.

My Grandmother is almost deaf, and she is confused by simple gadgets.

Family members receive phone calls from her, so we know what she wants to tell us, but cannot communicate back to her. I want to get her a mobile phone so we can text her a reply. big buttons, simple layout and simple operation is a must.

Any ideas please?
