It is no secret, I have a large head. A big epic cranium. So, I wonder why the difference between a 15 dollar headset and a 100 dollar headset may be in the quality overall, like 7.1 surround sound, but why do the cheaper headsets need to be so brutally uncomfortable.

The Story: My logitech g35 broke (my second pair, broke by this tiny useless amount of worthless plastic of a pin holding the entire ear piece to the head bracket) and I replaced it with a decent headset my mother had still brand new.

This thing crushes and ANNIHILATED my ears despite having some decent cushions. Any kind of headphone is fine if you use them for a few minutes, but if you use a headset for more than an hour a day, your ears are going to be red and sore with pain because of the design flaws.

So my question is; Why can't a company spend less than 20 cents worth of extra plastic to increase the size of the headphones so the cushion, in fact, so no part at all is TOUCHING my ear lobes. Headphones need to press on the sides of your head in order to stay on, so why can't a company make them bigger to cover more surface area, block more outside noise, and save my ears from pain?

I have read some stupid and uneducated websites about that text source. My questions are to those who have recently responded to the txt for additional information.
