Where can I sell some pistol primers.?
I mistakenly bought a box (1000) of small pistol magnum primers, 5 or so years ago, and want to sell them. Is there a place or can I advertise in the news paper or does it have to be word of mouth???
4 AnswersHunting8 years agoBest .45 auto available?
What's your opinion? Colt, Kimber, Para Ordinance ect. I'm looking to buy and just thought I'd get a few opinions...seeing I haven't fired one in 30 years I'm not up on newer innovations or improvements.

1 AnswerSoftware10 years agoDoes anyone know if the reloading data for a M1 Garand 30-06 listed in Hornadys' manual is ok to shoot?
Just don't want to waist my time if it's pressure curve is to much for this vintage weapon. Also would like to know if the SST's would work ok. I do want to hunt with it this coming season.
2 AnswersHunting1 decade agoThe Remington R25 in .308. What do ya'll think of it? Junk or a good serviceable firearm.?
I was thinking of getting one for deer hunting but I have read the trigger is creepy and it doesn't like NATO rounds. I have also read that it is prone to jamming. Anybody with extensive experiance with this firearm?
2 AnswersHunting1 decade agoWhat do you think of the Olympic Arms 300 SSM rifle and cartridge?
I was considering a purchasing this for deer hunting but I'm not sure of the manufactures reliability. The cartridge is very pricey also ($54.xx per 20 round box). I don't know if they make dies for reloading the ammo. Any help would be appreciated.
So what do you think?
7 AnswersHunting1 decade agoAny suggestions on a nice light semi auto deer rifle in 7.62.?
I was thinking of the 7.62 you can get in an AR frame but not sure if the Mini 14 frame would be better. I would be useing it for deer and in anything from broken timber to heavily wooded and very hilly.
7 AnswersHunting1 decade agoDoes anybody know of a cleaning kit that will accommodate a 36" rifle barrel?
I have been using 2 separate cleaning kits to make one rod. I was hoping to find a one piece plastic or brass rod (almost anything that won't damage the rifling). It's a 300 win mag bolt action.
5 AnswersHunting1 decade agoDo you agree with Sen. Jim Bunning (R-KY) on the unemployment benifits issue?
It came down to his vote on continuation of the federal unemployment benefits, highway funds for repairs and safety. He voted to let it laps. To me it couldn't have come at a worse time. So many people (11 Million according to some news reports) out of work and out of options. At the unemployment office I met a licensed electrician who had been unemployed about 1 year. I have several union friends (trades) who aren't working either. To me he should be nominated for the position of the 2010 poster child for a prophylactic.

3 AnswersEngineering1 decade agoI stand corrected..Knight muzzel loader rifles are no longer manufactured. When did this happen?
I suggested to someone a Knight muzzel loader not knowing they are no longer making rifles. Anybody know why? Were they crap or was it just the economy?
3 AnswersHunting1 decade agoWhat do you think the reasons for this economic disaster are?
Is it just the bad management and greed of some major companies and banks? Or are some employers deliberately squeezing the common worker because they didn't get their way in the elections? My boss states it's due to the Democrats winning the white house, cap and trade and fear mongering among the Republicans. What ever the reason I'm confused..and unemployed because of it.
17 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWould it be a good idea for U.S. drug manufactures to buy up all the Poppy crop from Afghanistan?
Or they already over supplied. It would legitimize the crop for local farmers and cut off the flow if illicit money for the Taliban. Or would it be supplying the Taliban with a consistent flow of money? It's just a thought. Maybe misguided but a thought none the less.
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoYour opinion of a light, fast handling brush gun for whitetail deer?
Well now I have to find a good brush gun for deer. the wooded ozarks I hunt had a lot of trees blown down. My regular bolt actions aren't going to be quick enough if I've got to go and dig the deer out of all the tree tops scattered about. The yardage shouldn't be more than 100 yds. I'm leaning towards lever guns like a 30-30 or .44 mag rifle. But I'm thinking an automatic might be better due to the fact that the terrain is going to be real tough with lots of brushy stuff mixed in with the tops and a fast followup shot might be needed.
What would you suggest and why.

Iron county missouri to be exact.

1 AnswerHunting1 decade agoWhat is this custom rifle worth?
It's a custom bolt action rifle by H.S.Precision. It has a Remington 700 long action bolt. 3 shot clip fed (10 shot was available at the time but I didn't get them) Stainless steel fluted 34" barrel that has a black flat black finish and a muzzle break. It is mounted to H.S. Precision's gray composit stock (with aluminum mounts for a free floating barrel). Used but in very very good condition. the caliber is 300 Winchester Magnum and the caliber marking are silver inlay. I sports a Leupold Vari x III 3.5 x 10 x 50 mm scope.
