propagandist newspaper delivery frustrations?
The dayum newspaper company here employs or subs out delivery drivers to throw trash in everyone's yards; they are mindful to make sure it's in the right-of-way and not on personal property. I've called them 7 times and asked them to stop delivering unsolicited material to my home and they have yet to stop. I would love to get up at 4 am and catch the guy, but I haven't succeeded. What legal action can I take? The only things that come to mind are to file a police complaint about littering or a TRO (temp. restraining order) against the newspaper company.

L = ⌡ √ 1+[ f ' (x) ]² this breaks down to ⌡ √ 1 + y² dx I was wondering if I could use trig identities. I get it to sec(x)^3; the integral of that is ln(sec(x) + tan(x) but subing back in I'm not getting the correct answer.

I cut his nails once a month; usually they're healthy looking. This time, they are black / brownish and fragile. I think it's a fungal infection. What do you think & could you provide a link to an ointment or a name of a treatment I could search for please. Sammy thanks you as well.

I paid a handyman 225 cash for work to be done; I trusted him because he's done work for me before. He's been giving me the run-around for a week now and currently not answering phone. Where do I file charges, my city/county or the city of his residence? Is this a matter for the police or just a civil suit?

1 AnswerMathematics10 years agoseries & sequence limit of (1+1/n)^n?
This is a divergent series, because as n-> infinity you just continue to add 2.72 or e to the summation forever. But I can't ignore what is said in Calc for Dummies book, and I'm probably missing something, could someone explain?
"Sequence & related function go hand in hand. If the limit of the function as x approaches inf is some finite # 'L', the the limit of the sequence is also L and the sequence converges to L. This graph also has a horizontal asymptote at L."
This is all true in the case of (1+1/n)^n, but the series diverges. Mainly because (1+1/n)^n does not = 0 as n -> inf. Maybe I'm looking at two different things?

2 AnswersMathematics10 years agoIntegral Question e^(2x) dx / e^(2x) + 3e^x + +2?
I have the answer book, don't understand how to get to one step
[int] e^(2x) dx / e^(2x) + 3e^x + 2 let u = e^x, then x = ln u and dx = du/u
[int] u² * du/u / u² + 3u + 2 (one of the U's will cancel on the numerator, leaving udu)
[int] udu / (u+1)(u+2) (the denominator factors)
[int] [-1 / u+1 + 2/u+2]du where is the -1 & +2 numerators coming from?
Thnx for the help, people here have really helped me out. (mech)

2 AnswersChemistry10 years agointegral ⌠ cosx + sin 2x / sinx?
⌠ cosx + sin 2x / sinx
I've got the solution book, but the author skips steps, so in this case I can't figure out the missing parts.
Use the Double ang formula:
⌠ cosx + 2sinxcosx / sinx dx
then somehow he gets to ⌠ sinx/cosx
then he gets that to ⌠ 2cosx dx
I just need help to get to those 2 steps, I can do the substitution.
Thanx

this doesn't work, i should end up w/ (2x+1)-1 / 2x+1

2 AnswersMathematics10 years agoInsulation that goes on the outside of a house?
I have a house & detached garage built in the 50's. There is no insulation in the walls and there are Asbestos shingles. Is there anything on the market that I could put on the outside of the house?
I have used the 1/2" foam board, but don't like it because it's hard to make a smooth surface on top of the shingles.
Also, I'm not interested in spaying foam insulation down or up into the walls.
Any Ideas? Thnx
