For my film studies module we need to make a short film, but I'm having some trouble generating ideas. We're not being marked on the idea or the quality of the script, so please don't write stuff like "this is for an assignment so you're meant to think up your OWN ideas" because that's not what the assignment is based on. Our prof wants to see our /technique/ regarding cinematography and camera shots, but it does need to be a coherent film.

Basically, I live really close to London so can do a ton of filming there, as there's so much to shoot, so if anyone had any ideas about a short story based in London that would be amazing!

I really want to put on a musical next year in my high school but so many of the recommendations are things that have been done a million times before. Things like Grease, Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma, West Side Story, Oliver, Phantom etc just get overdone and I want something a little different- maybe not as well known. I was thinking The Boy Friend, something like that. If you have any ideas please share- nothing too typical!

I really want to put on The Nightmare Before Christmas as a musical at my college next year but I don't know how to go about purchasing script rights. I know Disney has them but I have no clue what to do. If anyone has any advice on how to purchase rights please let me know!

This is something I've wanted to do for a while and I'm in good shape and take care of my appearance. Even considering moving to a big city to pursue this. How would you recommend getting into the business because I really want to do this?

I'm writing a play. One character- a lower middle class white boy living in London in the early 1960s has to be fighting for a cause. I was wondering if anyone knew of any key social issues a teenage boy may protest for during this time?

I have a small 1GB memory card which I've been using in my digital Lumix camera. I just took a series of pictures on it until the camera said Memory Card Full. So I put the memory card in my laptop, and went to My Computer. The card shows up under devices and says it's full (with the little red bar beneath it and saying "this much is availible from this much" or whatever) so I know it's full, but when I go to select t, my computer says all the files are empty? also when I click "import" my computer comes up with a message saying that no files were found on it. I've tried it on three different laptops so I know it's probably an issue with the card.

Also, when I put the card back in the camera I can view all my pictrues on there... so I know all the pictures are on the card.

Im in a small garage band and we want to get a microphone and obviously speakers or an amp which we can use with it. I dont really know what exactly I need to get (like a lead or something?) and what sort of microphone we should be getting (condensed or something....) any advice and or help is much appreciated! thanks very much.

I'm attempring to learn "Nothing" by The Script <3 (on guitar) . I've got the verse down but I'm just having a bit of trouble with the chords for the chorus? if anyone could explain it to me or link me to a good site which can I would b very greatful.

So me and my friends are starting a muggle quidditch team to rival a few others which have started in our school! We just need a name and it's pretty hard to come up with one, so I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas? Some place names which could be used are:

Stuff like that. Any ideas would be much appreciated (we're trying to stay off the whole "bird names" thing because most other teams have that and it's kinda unoriginal)

How scary would you say it is on a scale of 1 - 10, to someone who doesn't watch horror films? (14/15 yr olds)

I'm having a bit of a crisis because I have to submit a short story for english (1200 words) in a week and I have no clue what to write! I find it so difficult to come up with something good. I've written three or four already but I'm not happy with any of them and none of them are going to get me the marks I need. If anyone has any ideas that would be great! It could be funny, romantic, action, whatever! Any ideas are appreciated.

ps: Please don't write "you could write a story about someone trying to come up with a story idea so they go on yahoo answers bla bla bla"... I see this a lot on these kinda questions and its just ridiculous.
