  • Did anyone watch the debate last night?

I tried to be objective here.

Full disclosure, I am voting for Romney, so maybe my view is slanted.

That's why I am posting here.

I am not looking for people to agree with me or disagree with me, but to objectively state what did and did not happen.

So #1, if you didn't watch the debate last night, please make that clear in your reply.

If you did watch the debate, please tell me if you heard the same things I did.

#1 The moderator opened up and introduced Governor Romley (not a typo, that's what I heard).

#2 The moderator cut off Romney many more times than the President when both went over their allotted time EVERY time. (literally, both EVERY time!!!!)

#3 The moderator interupted Romney for a "fact check" one time, when I am pretty sure that is not the moderator's job.

I just felt that this whole thing was very slanted to the left.

I am not that into news, so this might be an entry level question. Is ABC slanted to the left? It seemed that way to me.

  • Think Carefully Atheists: If you use a verse (or multiple) from scripture, are you a believer?

Here is where the question is coming from.

If one enters into any sort of debate or argument, they usually pull from different sources to create their argument.

I have heard non-believers say a lot of things that are coming right out of the bible.

Maybe they do this to show their knowledge.

Maybe they do this to take something out of context to "prove a point".

Maybe they have no idea what they are doing.

Maybe they are doing something I just can't think of.

But the fact remains that people quote from God's book, but don't acknowledge it to be that.

I don't understand why an Atheist would even read the bible if they claim to be Atheist.

I have never read the koran, and never intend to. It has no bearing on my life.

I don't make it a point to "see where the muslim is coming from" because I really don't care what their perspective is. I already have the truth.

But, if I were to go look into other things and quote them, I am giving them credit.

An atheist is not able to give any credit or thought to theology, or they would not be atheists.

So maybe this is a 2 part question.

Maybe I am also asking how someone could claim to be an atheist and yet seek theistic conversations.

It is funny that atheists spend so much time in this section for theology and call believers hypocrites. HAH!

  • Why does everyone think they are good at Tetris?

I have played Tetris since I was very young on Nintendo. (I am 30)

In high school, I played Tetris P2P (peer to peer) through TI calculators, and I played on many hand held consoles.

Now, I play Tetris Battle through Facebook.

When I tell people that I am good at Tetris, everyone also thinks they are good.

I don't find that with anything else.

If I were to say I am good at piano, not everyone will also think they are good at piano.

Now, when I play these people, they are all bad (compared to me).

So maybe I am understating my skill.

    So point of this question:

Why do people over-rate themselves for this specific hobby?

#2 (this is bonus) If anyone thinks that they are REALLY good at Tetris and are experienced at Tetris Battle (and are ranked God of Tetris) give me a shout for a challenge.

    Thanks!

  • Christians: what's the most important issue to you this election?

For me, I don't see how any Christian can say that the most important issue is not one of pro-life.

This seems to be the most biblical value that exists today!

President Obama supports the killing of millions of babies in America each year.

I am not saying to vote Republican if you are Christian, but I am saying to chose an issues!

It seems that Romney has chosen on the side of Biblical values.

Since everyone is respectful on the internet, I will assume that everyone who will post here actually considers themselves to be Christian, as that is who I have asked to respond.

    Thanks

  • Homosexuality - born with it?

I am looking for opinions here, as I have not concluded that anyone has concluded any evidence.

    So, please post your opinion:

Born with it, or chose that path.

    You decide...

Of course you can troll this question and insert random garbage, but I would ask you not to - just this once.

Please don't quote the bible, we all know God's feeling about the topic.

    That is not the question.

    Thanks for playing!
