  • Religious Tattoos?

How do you represent your faith on your body? Do you have any tattoos or other body art inspired by your faith?

Atheists - do you make any statements about your beliefs through body art?

  • How Does Popular Media Portray Your Faith?

How is your faith portrayed in movies and television? How do you see the 'other side' portrayed by the media? For the sake of simplicity, the word 'faith' also applies to Atheists/Agnostics, so please feel free to comment from your perspective as well.

  • Post Yahoo! Answers in Blog?

I'm working on a blog that deals with apologetics, and I would like to incorporate y!Answers as a integral part of my page. Is there a way to embed a question (along with answers) directly into a blog, beyond simply copying the hyperlink?

  • How Often Do You See Christ..?

Reflected in the acts/words of Christians? As a homosexual/transgendered individual, do you find most Christians to be portraying the unconditional love of Christ? Do you find many of them to be hypocrites, especially in their dealings with the LGBT community? Share your experiences with Christians - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I also invite you share your views on the R&S forums.

  • Females: Would You Be Offended if You Were Called "Sweetie"?

I'm sure similar questions have been asked in the same vein, but I'm curious to find out exactly who would be offended by such a name. Please note that I am separating the "sweetie" issue from the issue of brushing someone off. Refer to this news story if you are unfamiliar with Obama reference:

In these times, is the term "Sweetie" considered to be insulting towards women? Why or why not?

    Thanks in advance

  • Scripture Regarding Loyalty?

I'm normally quite adept at citing scripture on a wide range of topics, but it seems I'm having an eclipse of the mind this morning. I'm looking for someone to help me out!

I need a passage of scripture concerning the loyalty and faithfulness of God to His children.

I politely request that atheists do not post their views concerning my God; as I am looking for scripture, and nothing else. You can debate my faith in another (more appropriate) question.

    Thank you and God bless!

  • Need Spanish translation for Auto Insurance company?

No one at the firm speaks Spanish, and there is a mexican man who needs to be informed of the following via phone:

Your wife was at fault. We do not cover damages.

Everything else can be handled via mail with the legal department, but I would like this message to be conveyed over the phone in Spanish. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

  • Drawing Riddle?

I know of the classic "Square with an X inside" riddle; but I was presented with a tougher one. A square, with an X in the middle, and triangles protruding from all four sides. This has to be done without lifting the pencil from the paper.

You cannot use the "folded paper" method.

  • Pascal May Have Been a Bit Off...?

As a Christian, I've often argued that Pascal's Wager (as many atheists have stated) is: 1) Terribly presumptious about the nature of faith and 2) a very poor reason for one to believe. However, I have to thank him for inspiring a similar thought:

As an atheist, why would you feel the need to argue with those who believe in a creator? To keep this fair, I am not referring to stating your beliefs (or defending them), but in attempting to debunk the beliefs of others.

Convincing a theist you are right results in one of three basic consequences:

    1. You are right, and the theist lives a life free of worry from judgement.

    2. You are right, and the theist lives a life without hope.

    3. You are wrong, and the theist is condemned in the manner outlined by his/her God

This is meant purely to evoke some rational arguments and healthy debate. What are your thoughts as an atheist?
