I'm doing a project and I am trying to find more information on what scientists believed (In any field) before the Hubble was launched in 1990- and how the Hubble has changed that science? If you have sources that would be fantastic!

I'm going to see my girlfriend for the first time in a LONG LONG time!!! I am flying into her home state and I want to do something super special for her. Why do you pray to Mother Mary or the other saints?? Isn't God and Jesus the only ones who can Save us? I understand Mother Mary's significance!! BUT, Jesus is the only pure one to live on earth! Why should I pray to the other saints?

I recently bought a 2012 Toyota Corolla, black exterior with black interior. The A/C on it I feel is garbage! I live in Northern Utah, so the temperatures are average 90's! I took it to the dealership and they said it works fine and its freezing cold, but when I drive people around, it literally feels like it's just blowing air, like a fan, not an A/C! When I told the dealership that they blamed the black interior and black paint, but I've been in a 5 year old car with the same paint and interior and the A/C is cold!! I know I'm using it right, I just want to know if anyone else has had issues similar to this or if the dealership is trying to get out of a repair!?

I swear these days, everytime I open up Yahoo! Answers R&S, it's either an Athiests attacking Christian beliefs, or it's Christians attacking Athiest beliefs. I am calling for a mutual agreement of respect. Can we all respect that athiests dont want to believe in God? And can we respect that Christians believe in God, and the Bible? I'm sick of this hate bretheren, let's begin loving and using Yahoo! what it's meant for, asking questions and discovering other religions! NOT ATTACK!!

The phone won't play sounds at all, like none. I can't open Windows Media for any files, and when I get a call or text, the phone doesn't make any noise or vibration. (I checked, the phone is on normal, i changed it to vibrate, and to outdoor, its just not working) any Help!?

My bird broke his toe, and the vet can't see him till Thursday (today is Monday). I can get him in earlier with an emergency fee but it's money that I simply don't have. Is he going to be ok till than? He's a 10 year old bird, he's just walkin on his gravel paper, and I'm trying to take good care of him...any suggestions or answers??

So I was walking down to my room and I found my bird (parakeet) on the sandpaper and he is unable to get back on his bars, now he's sleeping on the sandpaper, umm is there anything I can do to help him? Is a vet really worth it or are they just ganna say let him heal naturally?

Is anyone else completely appalled that David Osmond didn't go through to the next round in American Idol? I'm disgusted, I decided not to watch it at all for the rest of the season. I've heard this guys stuff on EFY cd's...he's amazing...I think we should protest!

Now well all know this is a sad subject that people would use children to gain control over a town or country.

In the book A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah, it's shown that they use drugs to gain control and brainwash these kids. So, in your own opinion, how would you say they use these drugs as a vital part of gaining control over their thoughts?

In basic, how are drugs used to control them?

I'm trying to extract a file and when I do it says "no files to extract" and "unknown method", it is music so i tried dragging it into iTunes but still wouldn't work, any ideas? its not password protected?

My religion, my way of life, has never gone quietly in life or unnoticed. People take the time to protest, fight, even murder and try to downpour our beliefs. Ya, kyou guessed it, I'm Mormon. Now why do people post hopeless and worthless questions on here? Honestly, what's the point? Shouldn't we live and let live? Has God not taught to accept all? And to you Athiests, do you have no character or integrity to just let us live? Why won't you just let us live?

For questions to any bible believer: In the book of revelations they talk about seven seals right? They are a period of time all lead by one person, in example the first seal was led by Adam and Eve, and then another one by Moses, so what do you think of the seventh seal? Has it happened? Who is leading it??

For my own answer to my question I want to answer as a Mormon (because that's what I am), We Believe that Joseph Smith opened the seventh seal (in the song Praise to the Man: they say "Blessed to open the last dispensation") and that we are definately in the last days, anyways cant wait for answers!
