i asked this question earlier, and i guess i didn't ask properly before, because i got some pretty rude answers. i was at a rabbi's house yesterday for sabbath, and my sister and i noticed that all of their pictures on the walls weren't hanging straight. i'm not talking about the Mezuzah. i'm talking about pictures. i'm jewish myself, and of course i've been to other jewish homes, so i'm not being ignorant. this was the first time that i've been in an ultra-jewish home, and i've never noticed the pictures hanging like this. i wanted to ask if they did this on purpose, but i didn't just in case it wasn't done on purpose, so i didn't want to seem rude.

please don't post rude comments, because i am NOT being ignorant, and i've been to other jewish people's homes, and i have never seen this before. plus i've heard of this before, but i can't remember the details. thank you!
