So I think my boyfriend is mad at me but I am not sure. I am pretty sure. See we talked while I was on break today, and I told him I would talk to him later tonight when we are both off work well I go to get on skype and he blocked me from calling him. I saw that he updated his fb status and I commented on it and got nothing back I tried to chat with him and didn't anything then tried calling but my call is being blocked or forwarded to voice mail. how else can I try contact him I tried texting 1 of his brothers but I didn't get anything from him either what do I do? I am really trying to think where i went wrong

So next week is me and my boyfriends one year anniversery! I have a recital for my music program at school because I am a music major. For piano student requirements we are required to play 3 pieces each. 1 of the 3 can be anything of each a song already composed or something we created ourselves. My boyfriend is a huge Mariah Carey fan! I think sometimes he is in love with her more than me! Haha anyways one of his favorite songs by her is Emotions, and what I have been working on for about the last 2 mon ths is a instramentle version of the song with me playing on the keyboard, and having a few other instramentalist on stage with me like a drum player, xylaphone, etc and maybe a back track tape with a phew beats on it from the original song! I was gonna play it and dedicated to him! What do you all think?!?!?! Need allot of feed back!

Why does society assume that all black women wear weaves? I am a black girl and I have never had to have a weave put in my whole life and my hair is down to my shoulders and no it doesn't take me forever to do it like allot of people assume it takes black girl to do her hair and I don't just use "black girl" only products! My mom says she is upset that I decided to not to attend my brothers wedding. Here is why 1 we have not really ever been close since were in our early teen years. He always put me down made in fun of me, and has never wanted to do right by me. 2 I hate his wife to be she is just as bad as him which is why they are so "madly in love" 3. The weekend of his wedding is the same weekend I had set out to leave and getting ready to the new school I am going to for grad school! I CAN'T WAIT! Anyways my brother 1st asked me to be in the wedding I declined, and I know the only reason why he asked me was because my mom made him feel obligated to. And now he "says he wants me there" but I know it is my mom pushing him. I would rather start settling in that weekend for grad school, and get far away from this place. I am not saying she is not talented , but I do think she is overrated a little everyone talks about how she has such a powerful voice so does Beyonce, Adelle, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga when she actually does ballads Whitney had a powerful voice! And Dion has one I just don't understand why Christina? I mean I know girls in my school and women at my church that have pipes just like she does. People on American Idol have pipes. I have just always been curious when there are so many others that can sing like her if not better! And also reached allot more achievement for a fact. At least in my opinion and I am not hating before you all get upset and say stop being a hater because I am not.

I get so dam tired cuz other black folk who grow up around mostly white people be thinkin dey to good to be around other black folk! U still black when it comes down to it! I hate how they always try to use big words to try and be little yo *** and always make it seem like we r stupid! We not we are educated we just talk a little slang dats all. Like some of da black kids at the school thinkin dey better because they grew up in the suburbs, and dey parents got good paying jobs. This is my biggest pet peeve about other black kids! Why the hell won't my boyfriend leave me alone about my happy place? I think that the purpose of a happy place is supposed to be your enjoyment and your enjoyment only! I don't want anyone else to know where my happy place is! If other people show it it wouldn't be happy anymore! I have seen so many times where the women cries and begs and begs for forgiveness, and all is forgoten, but when a man cheats society deems him to hell, and he is never allowed to live it down. Every time we go out my bf is always getting hit on by guys and girls. And sometimes it is really annoying especially when it is by the stupid ditzy girls. But I guess sometimes i get a little jealous, and I am worried about him getting intertested in some of the people we come across, and start flirting back. What should I do? I am African American, and proud of it, but what I am not proud of is the stereotypical African Americans that give the rest of us all a bad name. For example the ones who think it is cool to act ghetto or the ones who think it is cool to walk with their pants below their ***. Also I guess it was because the ones that do fit the stereotype are the ones I have never really fit in with. The always laughed at me because of my name they said it was to "white" or they said I spoke properly, and wished I would just use slang, or they always said "o you think you are better than us just because you are only half black" which is true about the half black part, but I still consider African American 9 times out of 10. I am not saying that all black people are like this and its just the ones that fit the stereotype and me personally I try to stay away from those people. Does this make me racist against my own race. I mean I have some black friends, but not to many. I guess I am just annoyed that is how allot of African Americans are portrayed based on the ignorant stereotypical trashy people. What should I do should I conform like everyone else or still try going against the stereotype?

I hate my sister! She is self centered she only cares about her looks and what other people think of her looks. She only thinks about herself and what she will get out of a situation. She is a spoiled brat who has never had to work for anything and is used to getting through life because of her looks. I can;t stand it anymore how can i get her out of my life for good! I don't really want to do this 1st off let me say this i am shocked he even asked me because me and my brother have not been close since the mid teen years. Also I really did not have it in my mind to attend the wedding for other reasons. And 3rd of all I am not really all that tight with the bride to be. She has not really treated me with respect.
