First off, I am currently active duty, Navy Corpsman I have been in for 4 years. I have three more years on my contact and I am looking to get out and go to nursing school.

I am a little confused with how it works,

Is there any university that offers the full four year program?

Do you have to attend a community college first?

Almost all the program that I found I have to already be a RN, is this true for most programs?

I am currently looking for a college in Oregon that will let me take the full four years from fresh

start to graduation, any recommendation?

When I first bought the mac I was able to hold any key board character "B" and it would type "BBBBBB" as long as my hand was on the character, Now I have to press "B" and hold it only does one "B" the same is true with all characters and backspace which is really annoying! Thanks!

I was wondering if some one can give me some tips on were to invest some money, I have a cd which is 1% interest, which really sucks. TSP which I put 8% of my pay towards. I have 5 thousand dollars to invest and was wondering where i should put the money. Are there are places that will help you invest or that have stock brokers? Im brand new to investing .

Trying to Loose fat and gain muscle mass

I weight lift 3 times a week and cardio 2 to 3 times a week,

Heres my question

I am active duty and run at least 6 miles a week with group PT.

Lately I have started working out more with Lifting weights 3 times a week and running 3 miles in the same work out routine.

Usually I am able to loose weight easly by changing my diet but it seems I can not with weight lifting. I know you dont gain muscle that fast, are there any other reasons for the weight gain. Im 6'2 220 lbs eat a 2000 calorie diet.

Sense I started out as an E-1 and I will be an E-3 FEB 28 is there any way that with a chit or some thing I would be able to take the March exam?

I enlisted as corpsman for 5 years, and leave for basic the 25 of this month.

I was wondering what I can do to start my path to becoming an officer.

Do I need specific degrees or any ?

Is there any way to avoid getting a degree and take a specific course?

I am currently enlisted in the United States Navy leave 090825 for basic.

My only goal is to put on khakis (sp?) that Chiefs and Officers wear.

I was wondering which has more respect a Chief or Officer?

After my 5 years what options do I have to be an officer?

After you Graduate Basic do you automatically get promoted to Seaman Apprentice E-2.

I am Entering as an E-1.

After I complete Basic and go to A school where do it go to next?

I am a male will i automatically be stationed with the marines?

Do i have to pick a C school, if i do now what will happen?

I am just wondering pretty much all i can about it.

I just joined and was Processed through MEPS. I am Currently in DEP and have HM guaranteed to me.

I am joining the navy for 4 years but have not picked out my job. that being set aside.

I was wondering what type of careers revolve around storms and extreme weather. I love storms and would like to find a career in that field that is not semi boring like watching a computer.

Are there any job that revolve around storms in the navy? and after the navy what types of jobs?
