Here's what I have so far:

10c-f =-13+cd

10c=-13+cd+f

c = -13+cd+f/10

I'm not sure what to do after that.

We've been learning about genetics in school, and I've been wondering about this question, I'll do my best to explain it.

Let's say in Parent 1, blue eyes are dominant, and he/she has that allele (lets say BB, for example). In Parent 2, green eyes are dominant, and he/she has that allele (such as GG).

If Parent 1 and Parent 2 were to mate, and both passed down their dominant eye color allele (B and G), what would the offspring's eye color/genotype be?

This is what I've been thinking, but our teacher hasn't been over this:

Does the eye color that shows up become the dominant allele, while the one that didn't become a recessive? (Like BG gets passed down, and the offspring has blue eyes, would the new genotype be Bb (b for green eyes)?

(My goal is to get a 5:30 in AT LEAST 4-5 months, which I think is a bit more than enough time to improve by just under 30 seconds)

So, my personal record is a 5:53 (although my average time is between 5:59-6:08), and I really want to improve. I've been stuck in the low 6's and high 5's for the last 2-3 months.

As of what I feel is slowing me down is either my speed or my pace/stride (I'm pretty short, only 5'2), but I'm more focused on improving my speed first. Stamina/energy isn't really a problem for me in the mile.

I have two questions:

1. What are some training schedules or tips to improve my speed?

2. What are some tips to improving my pace/stride? (please consider that I'm short)

Earlier today, about 2 hours ago, I was surfing the internet when my internet started to slow down to a point I had to wait 2 minutes for a page to load. I was only a few feet away from my router, too, so I ran a few speed tests on speedtest.net, my results were:

Ping: 36 ms, Download Speed: 1.09 Mbps, Upload Speed: 4.25 Mbps

I then wired my computer the the router and got these speeds:

Ping: 26 ms, Download Speed: 22.45 Mbps, Upload Speed: 6.50 Mbps

With my computer right next to the router (wireless) I had a ping of 34 ms, a download speed of 10.05 Mbps, and an upload speed of 5.06 Mbps

I ran a malaware/virus scan, nothing found

No one else is using the same internet as me.

My ISP is Verizon and I pay for a 25 Mbps download speed.

Not sure about the model of my router, though.

Any ways to resolve?

Could it be an interference or a problem with the hardware?

(It's a long story so I won't be too detailed)

I was playing basketball and the ball was hit off the backboard, and while I was trying to catch it, it hit and bent back my "ring finger" on my left hand.

The area where I hit it (Don't know what it's called but it's like the second section/joint/bone of my finger), is now swollen with a little purple/black on the bottom of my finger, and noticeable enlargement/swelling compared to my other finger (aka sides of finger are much larger than same finger on other hand). When it's not be used, on a scale of 1 to 10, its only about a two, but when I move the second joint/section it quickly escalates to a 7/8.

I can move it too, just it hurts TONS when I do. (It felt like someone was putting a needle through my finger right after the basketball hit, which lasted about two minutes.)

Now if I move it fast, my body immediately flinches it back into a resting mode to stop the pain.

The only reason I don't exactly want to drive to Urgent Care right now is because it's not numb, or not nearly as much as the time I broke my thumb, and that I can move it, just with a lot of pain when I do.

Again, I can move my entire finger with little pain (only using the very first section/joint/bone which is attached to your palm, and keeping the rest of my finger straight).

I can also move the section that is swollen but with extreme pain.

I think I'll give it a day, and if the symptoms don't lessen, then I'll head to Urgent Care to get an X-Ray.

Yesterday was my sister's wedding . At the dinner party the music was a little "too loud". I told the DJ to turn it down a couple times but he would just turn in back up.. Anyways to the point:

The music/dancing lasted about 3 hours and now I have this annoying ringing/beeping in my ears..

I've gave it 24 hours and it hasn't wen't away yet.. I was wondering how much more I should give it before maybe seeing a doctor on it. Last time I has this it lasted like 2 hours and went away. This time it's been nearly 2 days.

Other Symptoms:

If I close my ears (by pressing down on the small flap right outside your inner ear) I hear a electric sound which sounds like when you're really close to a power line. Sounds the same. (This went away over night)

Faded hearing (Made people sound like they're whispering but in the tone of regular talking (I suck at explaining :P). (This has decreased over night but is still present)

Ok that's pretty much it :/ How much do you think it will be until it goes away?

P.S. There we're also loud fireworks (not that loud though).

I honestly don't know much about computers so don't start saying techy stuff that just confuses me..:\ I need a computer that's fast for gaming & stuff like that... I want something that's somewhat affordable... My "price range" would be from anything under $650 (even though if it was worth it I might go a little past that).That pretty much means no Apple Computers :\... I also don't want a response that says "You should make your own custom computer" Cuz I don't think that's gonna be easy. I know its cheaper too but just.. no. Any suggestions on "fast" computers that could handle some bigger memory using games like umm... Minecraft? (Even though I don't play it I think it's a good example). I'm using a Toshiba right now and trust me it doesn't handle games well. (EXTREME lag on games). I need a new computer cuz my Toshiba is over 4 years old and it's growing too much problems and I'm gonna need a new computer soon..

P.S. I would really prefer a laptop over a desktop just because I might also use it for work..

Ok, My son was running the mile today for PE and he told me he got a 6:15 Mile. He keeps asking me if it's a good time and I really don't know what to say. So I'm asking if it's a "good" mile time for a 11 year old boy.

So, I need to turn in this project tomorrow for school, it's a recipe project (I won't get in detail). My recipe is chocolate cupcakes, and my teacher wanted pictures so i added 3 pictures of chocolate cupcakes and made my headings brown. When I printed my project out, all the brown pictures and the headings turned Greenish-Yellow. What happened and how can i fix it? Remember I need my project done my tomorrow. I know i could always tell my teacher my printer had problems and I will if I don't get any help but anyways can i have some ideas on how to fix it? (My printer is a HP Officejet 6300 Intern-1)

I live in Torrance, CA. My son goes to Victor Elementary school and is in 5th grade. He was at the time they were supposed to choose their school. There are two middle schools near him: Jefferson and Bert Lynn. Due to where we live, his home(chosen) middle school was Jefferson. We went for Open Enrollment to try to go to Bert Lynn because all his friends are going there. We accidentally forgot to turn in one of the applications and it's too late now to get one. We went to the district and they said we were supposed to turn it in by March. So, is there anything I could do to get him to Bert Lynn? He's depressed because he won't know anyone that is going to Jefferson. The district said something about a home moving permit that is if you move closer to Bert Lynn you show them proof that you moved and then you can attend Bert Lynn. I didn't really hear what she said about it. Is that the only way? I will do it if it's the only way. Are their any other ways?

People say if you put a small ball on top of a big ball and bounce it it will bounce higher than its original height. Can you do it without adding a ball or any pressure on it?

This is what happened. I have two mollies with a betta. One of the mollies started acting weird. It is bleeding, acting way too active, and jumping out of the tank. It is also has red eyes.

I want any beautiful, colorful, and active fish that can live with a mystery snail.
