I bought a fleece hat (a pokemon hat) and it is a bit too small. Is there anyway to increase the size by a bit?

About 4 months ago, I was lying in bed and kicked the covers off. This pain shot through my upper leg, and I could barley walk or move it. Now, 4 months later, it still hurts. But the thing is, it doesnt always hurt. Its on and off. Some days are really bad, and I have trouble rolling over onto my side in bed becaues of it. I have to limp places sometimes because the pain makes it hard to put pressure on it. Other days, theres no pain, I can walk fine, and nothing seems wrong.The pain seems almost as bad as when I first got the injury. There is no swelling, bruises, or visible injury. Help?

I've been to the doctor before but of course it wasnt hurting at the time and the exercises they had me do did not hurt me, as it was not hurting at the time, so they offered no help. It's hard to schedule an appointment with the doctor when it is hurting, as its random it seems.

I'm not very athletic, very unflexable, and dont have any previous injuries that would trigger something like this.

I'm at a loss of what to do. Does anyone have any idea what this is? I feel like if it were a pulled muscle, it would have healed by now. Any suggestions on what I should do? I really doubt its anything serious as a broken bone or something, as all I did was kick the covers off. Maybe I did something to my hamstring? Any insight would be appreciated.
