We are choosing classes right now for high school and i saw marine biology as one of the options. I was wondering that if I take marine biology, and if i want to become a physician in the future, will colleges see biology marine as a biology-related class or will they see it as an unrelated class because marine biology involves working with marine animals instead of people?

part a: f(x)=lxl/x

part b: f(x)=(x^2+3x)/(x+3)

for part a, i got

"it is discontinuous at x=0 and the limit does not exist" but if the limit does not exist, does it mean it is not removable?

for part b, i got

"it is discontinuous x=-3 and the limit exists" but since the limit exists, is it removable?

we need to find the domain and range and we need to find it in interval notation (like this (x,y], [x,y), etc.) i can find the domain and range, but i don't know how to put it in the interval notation form
