Hi! I'm a free thinker- close to atheist! I do my best to keep an open mind to all points of view and to all people. Cheers!

  • Natural disasters- an act of God?

If insurance companies consider natural disasters an act of God and do not pay people who have claims because of this, then is God really loving and caring as various religions claim?

  • Oklahoma has suffered some horrible fires and losses and I have a question?

A cross was found next to a fence near these fires. If these people go to church and practice their faith, is this really a loving and caring God? Why would he allow these people to suffer so horribly? I do not believe in the religions of this world because I think they are false and corrupt; however, I would like to hear what you have to say.

  • Dreams - this is really weird! What does this mean?

I recently had several dreams of a number of orbs on Earth. One is from the so called lost city of Atlantes and the other two were found in Australia and Brazil. I put the other two on rods and form a triangle with the orb of Atlantes in my folded lower hands and say the words "Acicheteza" and the orb begins to glow. Maybe it's just a crazy dream. Does anyone know if there is any meaning to this? I did some internet research and these orbs really do exists! That's what makes it so weird!

  • Are Christianity and other religions of this world credible?

Some scholars claim that the "tree of life" and "tree of knowledge" are the same thing. After all, if you know everything, then you know how to prolong life. Furthermore, does it really matter if Eve ate an apple or some other fruit? The fact is that she should still be here today because she would have gained the knowledge to live after eating this fruit. Why are there two different versions of creativity in the bible? If different scholars and denominations within the church itself disagree on the bible, how can you trust it (like Protestants and Catholics in Ireland as an example)? I believe in something but I do not believe in any of the religions of this world- they are written and re-written and tailored by humankind! Take Corinthians 11:14 as another example- it's a shame for a man to have long hair while many Christian denominations portray this Christ having long hair.

  • Is Christianity and other religions in this world reliable?

If Eve, in the story of Adam and Eve, ate an apple from the tree of life, where is Eve today? After all, she should have eternal life! What about the devil- why did this God create the Devil, while God knows everything and everything that's going to happen in the future because he makes it all happen. Can you really believe in Christianity and any of the religions of this world? Is this God credible or morale?

  • Is there a problem with Microsoft or is it malware and is there a solution without restoring?

I had a good answer from another user but my administrator account is still defaulted to standard user. I've tried using the command net user administrator/active:yes with no spaces and that did not work (you are not authorized). I can go into safety mode with administrator rights but I still cannot covert my administrator account back to ADMIN or create a new account as an administrator. Microsoft says it's malware but all the geek forums are saying this is a problem with Microsoft Windows (Vista in particular). Who's correct and is there a solution to this problem? I've even been into control panel under security and administrative controls but the user account controls are not there. They do not show up under computer management.

  • How do I get administrator rights back?

I'm using Vista 64 bit and my user accounts have all been converted to standard user. I've tried setting up a new account and that did not work. I also went into DOS and used the command net user administrator/active:yes and I got the message: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6002]

Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\Users\PAUL 1>net user administrator/active:yes

The syntax of this command is:

    NET USER

    [username [password | *] [options]] [/DOMAIN]

    username {password | *} /ADD [options] [/DOMAIN]

    username [/DELETE] [/DOMAIN]

    username [/TIMES:{times | ALL}]

    C:\Users\PAUL 1> NET HELPMSG 2221.

Is there any way to fix this?

  • What would you do if your privacy was invaded?

Say someone stuck cameras in your workplace or home and some computer hacker hacked the system and broadcasted you to the world illegally but various people conspired and covered this up. What would you do? Say you even went to a therapist and your therapist believed your story, what would you do? You're now like the Truman Show! Who do you contact for assistance?

  • Why would a god create an evil being like Satan and give him free will?

If this god has the power to stop evil and knows everything and can do anything, why would he allow evil and give this so called devil a free will? Therefore, is it really humankind's fault that people are sinful? Is not this god a hypocrite?

  • How is Christianity credible? Did not Christ have long hair?

Corinthians 11:14: Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him. There are also many other contradictions in the bible.

  • If Christ said "ask and you shall receive" then why do we not always receive what we ask?

I think Christ lied like Atheists claim and Christianity is a fraud!
