This is in no way meant to be an argument as I know it would rely on outrageous assumptions, but I was curious. So I was watching some monster quest on the History channel and they were after a megalodon. Supposively they found a tooth that was aged at 10,000 years old. The creature went extinct 18 million years ago. It turns out they didn't have enough evidence to say it was the extinct shark's tooth. I got to wondering if discovering a supposively extinct creature like one of these or a dinosaur on a remote island of some sort, would that cause you not to completely disregard evolution, but at least question the validity some?

Have you ever sought a second opinion from a medical doctor or advised another to do so? If so, what was the outcome? Please state religious background.
