1998 Mitsubishi Galant Transmission problems - NEED HELP?
My girlfriend ownes a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant ES with 139000 miles on it. It recently begun acting up as soon as I changed the oil on her car manually. The engine shuts off sometimes when she puts her foot on the brake at stop signs and red lights. I noticed that when it doesnt shut off, the engine gets exceptionally weak when pressing the brake.
Also, the transmission shifts really hard when going from 1st to second gear and from 2nd to 3rd (car is an Automatic by the way). Any suggestions on what is wrong?

I have a court date this morning for a speeding ticket I received last month. I will receive 4 points on my license if I just pay the ticket, but I decided to go into court and plead not guilty. I just dont want the points on my license, I dont care what I have to pay to get them off. Someone said I should talk to the prosecutor once in court to work out a deal. Is this a good idea? Give me your input.

y(t) = 4 + ∑ (2nπ / 10)cos(n π t / 4) + (120nπ/30)sin (n π t / 4)
a. What is the fundamental frequency in Hertz and radians/second?
b. What is the period T associated with the fundamental frequency?
c. Express the Fourier series as an infinite series containing sine terms only.

I think Fourier Series is involved :
Express the function y(t) = 4sin(2π t) + 15cos (2π t) in terms of (a) a cosine term only and (b) a sine term only
1 AnswerEngineering1 decade agoHow do you determine the period, frequency, and circular frequency of a function? ex. sin(2π t / 5)?
The problem is asking me to determine the period, the frequency in hertz, and the circular frequency in radians per second for the following sine and cosine functions:
a. sin(2π t / 5)
b. 5cos20t
c.sin (3n π t) for n = 1to infinity
