There are many gods and religions throughout history, the odds are not very good that you will pick the right one! Faith in your god is fine but to think yours is right and everyone is wrong isnt fair. Thoughts?

The internet is a great tool to discuss and educate each other globally on religion but its only recently that we've had that. Where did some atheists discuss these topics before the internet and now besides the internet?

The new testament was written to change the old ways when many followers were leaving the Judaic/christian church to get a spark and generate a new group of followers. So if the christian faith loses many followers will someone convince people god inspired a new book to be written in the future? Im sure some would believe it..

My opinion is that doesn't seem like a loving GOD, far from it and doesn't deserve worship. But since he promises you eternity in heaven you don't seem to have a problem with anything that he supposedly does.

First of all very insensitive and the people are in need right now and that should be the main focus. This is also the same person who called out Imus who got fired when he made racist comments about the Rutgers basketball team so she should get suspended. I wouldn't want a God this hateful and cause devastation to happen and this is coming from someone who believes in the same God that her ancestors slave owners believed in. So when devastation happens in America does she think about that? What do you think?

I've read some comments about the tsunami in japan and that "it is gods plan and these things must be done to fulfill his prohpecy". So basically you will never be upset at god, why cause it is written that he promises you eternity in heaven and you will live happily ever after. But what you are really saying is I don't care what he does in this lifetime cause I want to go to heaven otherwise ill be punished and go to hell. What if you flipped jesus and the devil around and it was the devil promising you these things would you still love jesus?

Many Christians claim that science is spreading false information and full of lies but if it coincided with your beliefs would they automatically love science?

Then why did He ask where Adam was in the Garden and if He ate the fruit? If God created Adam and Eve and couldn't even keep tabs on them two alone, then why the hell would people think God would know what 6 billion people are doing?

This in Genesis clearly states God had his head in the sand and didn't even know what was going on and if He did he was lying to them and playing a sick game.

This basically says a man has a right to beat his slave because it is his property as long as he doesn't gouge his eyes out.

This is clearly why women and African Americans had to fight so hard because of ignorant men did these things because they felt it was acceptable by God. It is not acceptable! This was mans way to create laws that they wanted to! It wasnt the word of God!

He's jeolous and pissed off at Adam and Eve for not obeying Him and taking the advice from a snake, curses them, the rest of us and every living thing forever. Then hes loving and forgiving, then he creates a flood that kills almost everything alive, then hes loving and forgiving, then He creates disease and plagues to man, then hes loving and forgiving and then Hes going to be pissed off at humanity supposedly any day now before he protects us and saves the day.

For example: Kanye West stepping on Taylor Swifts shoes at the MTV awards. It was an ugly situation that hurt Swift that night and made Kanye look like an idiot but since then Swift has blown up and become a house hold name and after 10 times of Kanye doing these stupid things, this might have been the one where he actually learns his lesson and becomes a better person.
