1 AnswerProgramming & Design5 years agoWhat kind of insect eggs have infested this bottle of Tunisian Olive Oil?
I bought a bottle of Tunisian Olive Oil from Trader Joe's and the side of the bottle was covered in clear insect eggs that almost looked like bubbles. I took it back to the store to exchange it, but every other bottle had the same problem, some with clouds of these eggs settled on the bottom. Does anyone have any idea what kind of insect eggs these could be, and if they could hatch in my stomach (serious question)?
1 AnswerZoology5 years agoHow can I find out when the market opens for a specific Forex or stock symbol?
I have an account with InstaForex, and I am trying to figure out what time to set my alarm when I want to buy a particular item. Just for an example, suppose I were interested in selling Disney stock ASAP. How can I know what time I will be able to trade it?
Also, if the earliest time is a "pre-market" time, would I still be eligible to place orders at that time?
1 AnswerInvesting6 years agoCan anyone answer this question about batteries (specifically solar)?
I am looking at batteries for a solar power system here:
http://www.wholesalesolar.com/deep-cycle-solar-bat...
Looking at an item like the first one on the page, the Voltage is 6V, Amp Hours is 415, and it says that Amp hours are measured at a 20 hour discharge rate. So I m thinking, that s about 21A used per hour, and the voltage is 6V. Does this mean I can only ever get 126W out of the battery (6V x 21A)? (Essentially meaning that solar batteries are good for almost nothing?)
2 AnswersGreen Living6 years agoDoes anyone understand that there are actually significant biological differences between Caitlyn Jenner and a real woman?
Just because you use a disgusting and invasive surgery to mutilate someone and turn their genitals inside out, and you give them female hormones to give them female-looking breasts, doesn't mean you magically changed a man into a woman. For the record, women have the parts that bear children. Men do not have these, no matter what kind of surgery.
I keep seeing all this crap on TV about how Caitlyn Jenner is brave and "heroic". He even got an award for being the most heroic woman alive. Then today I saw a bunch of headlines on Google News, trashing the prison system for not allowing an inmate to keep contraband magazines -- because they have Caitlyn Jenner on the cover. Is Caitlyn Jenner the next Martin Luther King or Ghandi or something? Does this really make sense to anyone?
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoWhat's with all these (I assume) gay rainbow avatars I keep seeing everywhere?
I see them on a lot of sites I'm on. Is this some kind of gay political statement, or they are celebrating Bruce Jenner getting a sex change, or what? Just wondering.
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender6 years agoDoes a bluetooth speaker that is plugged into the wall give better sound than when it is unplugged?
I m wondering about these kind of speakers on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-TaoTronics%C2%AE-D...
http://www.amazon.com/DKnight-Ultra-Portable-Bluet...
Mainly I m wondering if any of these would sound as good as regular powered computer speakers running on AC power.
3 AnswersOther - Electronics6 years agoWould a shark smell my pee?
I have kidney disease which means there are particles of blood and protein in my urine. If I were stuck in the middle of an ocean on a life preserver and I had to pee, would a passing shark smell the blood in my pee and eat me?

2 AnswersDrama6 years agoIs Starbucks trying to make customers leave?
I end up at a lot of Starbucks, and it seems like lately the music has been getting much louder and more depressing, and that they are blasting icy cold air directly over the tables (colder than is necessary). It seems like maybe they don't want a lot of people hanging out. Has anyone else noticed this?

The TV keeps calling them ISIS, but the written news sources all call them ISIL. Which is it?
