I will not rest until I know the name of this movie. I have a pretty good description, I think. Please help.

I know I watched it on television a while back. I think it may have been a 90s movie, but not sure. It's about a flood that begins by continuous rains. And it just keeps raining and the flood gets worse as the movie progresses. And at the end, the family decides they need to leave their home. But the mother decides that she wants to stay and die with the house. So they leave her behind, and the movie ends with the family building a new home elsewhere.

Does anyone know what the name of this movie is?!

I've been having quite a bit of problems with my laptop battery lately. For some reason when it's not plugged in, my computer will automatically shut off without warning with around 50 - 60% charge still left, according to Windows. Now I noticed that when I plug in my laptop, for a few brief seconds the battery display will say "plugged in, charging" and then it will switch to "plugged in, not charging". I saw some other solutions like uninstalling from the device manager -- that didn't work. I then tried to remove the battery and plug in the adapter. My laptop turns on, which apparently means that the battery is defective.

I've had my laptop for a little over two years now, so is it looking like I'm in need of a new battery?

If you were to use a pronoun about a company, how would you go about saying it? For instance, AT&T has proved it is nervous or AT&T has proved they are nervous. Thanks.

How would I go about doing this? Let's say I had an image and when I clicked the image I wanted it to hide one element and then display another element in its place. I already know the code for just hiding/displaying just one element [onmousedown document.getelementbyid().style.display] but how can I do both on a single click?

I have AT&T U-Verse, and we just got a new Sharp 32" HDTV, but we aren't subscribed to the $10 a month for all the HD channels that broadcast in the higher quality HD. But someone mentioned some sort of antenna that can receive that HD quality for free and all you need to do is buy the antenna and hook it up. I'm not sure how it works and it seems too good to be true. Can someone explain?

For about three years now I've had this fear of dying or being tortured to death? It's gotten a bit better but now it seems to include fear of people I love dying or being tortured as well as myself also and I just don't know what to do. It's getting very hard to deal with in certain situations.

I want to show that it's incompatible with Internet Explorer but I don't want all people using all browsers to see it. Either that or just an alert message to IE users trying to access it before accessing it, a pop up warning on the load page.

It seems like OGG is only compatible but that's an audio format. And whenever I try to do the <video src="FILE NAME HERE"> code with an AVI video or WMV, it just doesn't show up.

I was going to simply format the hard drive but I've heard that this is not the safest way to erase your hard drive, because people still have ways of recovering old data. So what's the best way to completely wipe the hard drive without any means of recovery from other people once we eventually bring it to be recycled or just thrown out?

I plug my iPhone 3G into my computer and open iTunes, check for update, click update carrier settings and I keep getting an unknown error: 0xE80003D. My iPhone is NOT jailbroken and I already tried resetting carrier settings. Nothing's working. Please help.

I've seen people do it before and I'm stunned since the "Update" button usually becomes disabled after 140 but my friend just posted 141 from the web. Although, the rest was replaced with a "..." which linked to the full twitter update.

This morning I went in for a bit of anesthesia for a small procedure. I got out of this at about 1pm and it's 3:30pm now. The doctor said for a few hours, the stomach wouldn't be okay and to wait until your hungry. But I had planned on going out to eat soon, so how long would it take until my stomach fully recovered and I could eat pretty much anything again?

And no, I'm not on a Mac so I can't get Glims. Is there any way to hack Safari or something or change the configuration like you can with Firefox to get Bing as a search engine?

On the navigation toolbar, if you right click there's quick options to show toolbars and Customize. But I accidentally hid the navigation so there's no where to click. All I have is my bookmarks toolbar and my tabs. I use an addon to hide my menus toolbar so what can I do?
