  • How can I interfere with the neighbor kids band equipment.?

Across the street from me I have inspiring musicians that play the most god awful music I have ever heard and they do it obnoxiously loud. After hearing them struggle with the same song for the last 6-7 months for hours a day and no avail talking to the parents is there anyway to disrupt their sessions? I don't want to kill their equipment, just help them figure out they need to practice somewhere else. Any advice?

  • Whats wrong with my knee?

Last night I was weight training and my knee popped violently and hurt like hell. I was able to walk off the pain and it continued to pop but it didn't hurt. This morning when I was coming down the stairs, every step it would pop. It still doesn't hurt but the popping sound is just getting annoying. I am able to slide my knee cap around on the knee that is popping more so than the other. I don't think I dislocated my patella because I would think that would hurt.

Again, it doesn't hurt and I have a full range of motion just the popping sound is getting on my nerves.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • Cardio before free weights or vice versa?

Some people swear you should do cardio first others believe that that free weights then cardio is better. About me, I am 27 years old, M, 6'2" 225-230 pounds, fairly decent shape not looking to get bigger just increase "everyday" strength and maybe tone up a little bit. Nightly I do 30 minutes on an elliptical trainer and follow up with 10-15 minutes on a recumbent bike for cool down but have not lifted for over 2 years. I just purchased a set of adjustable dumbells and plan on medium weight high rep sessions 3-4 nights a week. I am curious if anyone out there has similiar goals or experience they can share to help me decide if I should hit the weights or the elliptical/bike first.

My initial thought is to break it up (i.e. elliptical/weights/bike)

    Thank you.

  • What does this reoccurring dream mean?

I keep having a dream where I purchase the first home my parents bought in 1986 when I was 4 years old. They sold the home in 90' before I turned 9 and now in the dream I'm buying it nearly 20 years later only it's not the way I remember it.

As far as I remember the home was nice and neat but in the dream it's thrashed and looking out the window the sky is always dark and stormy. Nothing bad ever happened to me there, it was always the quiet, peaceful, kids playing in the street, typical 80's neighborhood. Basically I have fond memories of living there so I don't understand why I would dream about it being so miserable.

  • Question for Cowboy's fans?

With all the talk of no playoff wins in 13 years I have to ask who was more instrumental in the destruction of our team Jerry Jones or Barry Switzer? It seems to me that we had a force to reckon with in the mid 90's and Switzer couldn't capitalize. I believe strongly that had Johnson still been leading the team we would have taken 4 or 5 in a row (remember we had Favre's/GB's number back then and Johnson knew how to beat the 49ers). Then also it was under Switzer's guidance that all the legal issues came to light (similar to his days with Oklahoma) and causing the distractions. Then not to mention he and Troy had a strained relationship from their days at OU.

Jones on the other hand paid out way too much money to bring in talent to reignite the team after they had began to cool. This also led to the troubled Campo era where a large portion of the cap money was going to players not even in the league. Jones also passed on Randy Moss (who wanted to be a Cowboy more than anything) in favor of Greg Ellis who good in his own right but no Randy Moss.

Anticipating derogatory remarks from fans of the other teams let me respond in advance by telling you to go to hell.

Just curious how Cowboy's fans and fans of other teams that can behave themselves feel about it.

  • How do I attach a ledger to a stucco wall?

I am looking to build a patio cover this summer and I would like to attach it directly to the house vs. a free standing structure. The wall is a 1 part foam core application, run of the mill for tract homes. I am pretty sure there is an 3-1/2" x 13-7/8" LVL or Paralam beam running the length of the house that I could easily attach to using lag screws. The only thing I am really uncertain of is how to flash and waterproof the area I will be modifying. If anyone can help or direct me to a website that will explain the steps I would appreciate it.
