  • Wil a size 9 snowboard boot fit well in a size large Rome Mob binding?

It's time for a new pair of bindings and found a really good deal on some large Rome Mob Boss bindings. The size chart says that the medium is for size 7-10 and the large is for 10+. I found a couple of conflicting sites that stated the large was for 9+, but I don't want to chance it as these bindings are on clearance and won't be able to return them if I have issues.

Anyone have experience with a size 9 boot in a large Rome Mob Boss binding?

  • How hard is it to find a job in Tampa?

Here's my story. I am 25 years old and have a background in sales, customer service, call centers, and culinary. I do not have a college degree. I have a wife and a 2 year old daughter. I want to move to the Tampa area, not Tampa per say, but could be St Pete's, Clearwater, Brandon, Bradenton, Sarasota, Spring Hill, etc.

I have family in the area, but I will not be relying on them for monetary support. If I am going to do this, I am going to do it on my own. I have been applying to jobs in the area, but for the most part I know I have a better chance getting a job once I am in the area and showing up to drop off my resume in person.

I have $11,000 saved up for the move. My wife will continue to work from home and brings in about $1,700 a month. I have crunched the numbers in my head based on rent, deposits, utilities, a car, food, etc. I know I can make it for about 4 to 6 months before the money runs dry.

So my question is... How hard is it to find a job in Tampa? Please be specific to my situation. How many months will it take to find work? Are there plenty of positions available in my field? Etc.

Please do not lecture me on moving to Tampa due to crime, unemployment rate, etc. I am aware of these issues and am familiar with the area. I plan to work through it. And please do not lecture me on leaving current employment, etc. My current employer has provided me the option to return to work if I return within a year, so that is not an issue if I fail in my attempt to move.

I am mainly looking for first hand experience from people that have made a move like this recently. Thanks in advance.

  • What should I do with some extra cash.?

I know people are worried about taking care of their families, so don't get me wrong when I am asking what vehicle to buy. We currently have a 98 outback with 200 k. It runs fine, but has its qwerks. I came into some cash and my wife says I deserve to spend it as I want, as i am the only one who works. My options are college fund(2 daughters) a replacement car, or a motorcycle(I sold mine not too long ago to get the Subaru. We live in vt, so the bike would be stored winters. I only work a half mile from home, so transportation to work isn't an issue. Riding a motorcycle or sports type car is an outlet. When I needed a breather, I'd go for a ride. Is it selfish of me to want another bike. Any and all opinions appreciated. By the way, I'm only talking about 3 thousand dollars. Thanks.

  • I am looking for a do it all mountain bike tire?

I recently bought a haro x6 downhill bike which comes with some nice 26x2.35 aggressive tread tires. I am going to be using the bike to get to the trailhead on pavement, moderate riding on some twisty downhill courses(mainly packed dirt or gravel, occasionally muddy or rocky), and around town to run errands instead of taking the car. What tires do you suggest? Tubed 26" is a must. I don't plan on going bigger than a 2.35 but would be open to a 2.1.

  • Is it legal to work 14 hours and only receive a 30min break 10 hours in?-New York?

Do I have a case? I'm not really looking to sue, just to keep the company from getting away with employee abuse. It's happened several times, but I will list one occasion. I worked from 8:45am until 11:15pm. I had to fight to finally receive a lunch break at 6:45pm until 7:15pm. I did not receive any other break than that half hour. BTW, I am referring to New York state. Is this legal? What can I do about it?

  • Do I need to claim taxes on eBay sales and stock photography?

Since late January, I have been selling stock photos on several microstock sites and have also been selling prints (both framed and not) on Flickr and eBay. I'm not making a ton of money, but probably $200 or so a month. Do I have to claim this as income on next years taxes? And if so, do I have to claim the whole amount, or just my profit margin, or...? I do have a fulltime job and normally get a tax refund of at least a few hundred dollars, it that matters.

  • Will I be happy with a sv650s?

I am an avid rider and have been for the past few years. I have roughly 50,000 miles under my belt. My current bike is a 96 gsxr 750. I love the bike, but it isn't extremely comfortable on long trips. I am looking into trading it for a 02 sv650s which is more comfortable for my hour long commute to work. I love the power of the 750, but don't exceed 80mph on a daily basis. Will the sv650s be fun/powerful enough for me? I am 5'10" 250lb.

  • Will my daughter understand if I move?

I currently have my daughter 3 days per week. She is 4 years old and I love every second that I spend with her. I currently am an assistant manager at a photography company. I was offered a manager position at a different venue within the same company. This would be a big career move for me. I would be progressing in the company and receiving double the pay I get now for almost the same amount of work. Additionally, It would open doors for future positions. The problem is that I would have to move away far enough that I wouldn't get those three days with my daughter. I have considered my options, such as Skype, or asking her mother to allow me to take her for the summer, but this is a very hard decision. On one hand, I will be progressing my career, but on the other hand I won't be able to see my daughter as much as I want. I am concerned with whether or not she will understand or resent me for making the decision. It will kill me not to be there for her, but I don't know if I will get an opportunity like this again. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Does my ls swap have ls rotors?

I bought an 89 civic si with an integra ls swap. My rotors are warped and need changing. I need to know if rotors are part of an engine swap and i have ls rotors, or if I could still be using si rotors. I just don't wanna purchase the wrong part and taking the car apart to check is not an option as I have only one vehicle and am 20 miles from the nearest auto store.

  • 98 Subaru Outback Intermittent Starting?

Yesterday, I started up my car and drove to the store. When I came out, the starter only clicked. Put a brand new battery in, but nothing. Pop started the car and drove it home. This morning, it started right up, but after running for 15 minutes, I turned it off and tried again. This time only one single click from the starter. I waited an hour and tried again. Now it is clicking again. I tried cleaning terminals and checked connections, but nothing helped. I am sure if I wait 12 hours, it will start again, or I could pop start it now... I replaced the starter a couple months ago, so I don't think the starter is going. Any suggestions will be helpful. But please don't suggest I bring it to a garage. I wouldn't be asking here if I had the money to take it to the shop. I am pretty handy around an engine, but I am stumped on this one. Thanks.

  • Need help with older suzuki bike (electrical and lighting)?

I have a 78 GS550E. Its a nice bike, and I have done a lot of work to it. But as with all older vehicles, the need to constantly replace parts is inevidable. Last night, it was raining hard when I went to leave work. I didn't anticipate the rain, so I never covered the bike. The bike started fine, but after about 10 seconds, the headlight and the backlighting for the gauge cluster went out. They would not come back on. Everything else still works. The gauges work, the brake lights, the turn signals, etc. I know the electrical stuff on these older bikes should be simple, but I have no electrical experience, only mechanical. I checked over the wires, fuses, lamps, switches, etc. But everything seemed to be intact. If someone has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate the input, as the bike is currently my only transportation to work and I need the lights to work to get home at night. thanks.

  • what are the requirements for my mom to give me a handgun(VERMONT ONLY)?

My mom purchased a handgun through a dealer last year. I have just turned 21 and she wants to give it to me. To my knowledge, the only restrictions on handguns in VT is that you must be 21 to purchase but 18 to carry and if purchased or sold to a dealer, it must be recorded. The law doesn't state anything about regulation on gifts or private sales. So, I guess my questions are, does my mom need to right a "bill of sale" to me? And if I go to sell the gun to a dealer in the future, will I need to provide any sort of proof that the gun is mine? Please, only answer this question if you have knowledge of Vermont gun laws, especially if you are an Officer(police, warden, trooper, sheriff, etc.) or possess a FFL(dealers, etc) Thank you.

  • can i buy a car and sell it before registering it?

I live in Vermont. I bought a car and the previous owner gave me a bill of sale, registration and signed the title. There is a spot on the title where I can sign to a new owner. I have not obtained a new title or registration. Can I sell the car with a bill of sale and the old title without registering it myself first?

  • Does my rear wiper need to be adjusted or replaced?

I have a 96 subaru legacy wagon. When i turn on the rear wiper, the motor runs, but does not move. If I go back to the wiper and give it a tiny push, it will go through one complete wipe cycle but then it stops again until i give it another little push. While it is stopped, it makes a ticking noise. I think it may just need to be adjusted, but I am not sure on how to do so, and it doesn't bother me enough to take it to a mechanic. Thanks for the help.
