How many oak 2x4s can you glue together the long direction before the width span is too weak?
I'd like to build a wooden toneau cover for my Tacoma. I want to glue boards running the length of my bed together side by side. If I used 2x4s or 2x6s it would take roughly 18 or 12 boards respectively. Is this too many to glue together as 1 piece and still be strong? Thanks!

Have you used heavy gaged aluminum tape to seal mouse holes? Would that work to keep a mouse from chewing through over stuffing steel wool?
