  • How to raise money for a school club?

I need to raise a lot of money for my school club and bake sales won't cut it. I had the idea of doing something during lunch, kind of like "pay a dollar and throw a ball at a dunk tank with a teacher inside of it". This is hard because the tanks are expensive and we wouldn't know where else to put it. What other fun and engaging ways could we get people to donate? We were also thinking $1=1 vote as to which teacher should….. (something fun or crazy like kiss a pig or dress up as something). I figured that choosing an activity in which the students could participate in would raise more since it's funner. Any ideas? Thanks! Best answer!!

  • Hurt wrist- is it serious?

A couple of years ago I fractured my right wrist and wore a cast for a month. After the cast was taken off it still hurt for a long time and it hurts now and then so I figured it never heeled completely. Yesterday my heel got stuck on a step and I tripped on the stairs and banged it against the wall. It hurts a lot now and I can't turn it completely, so should I be worried? Thanks!

  • Medication patterns for my dogs lyme disease?

My australian shepherd has lyme disease and the vet gave us a bottle of medication for him. The bottle of 100mg capsules says to be "give 3 tablets by mouth every 24 hours." Does this mean that we should give him one in the morning, afternoon and evening or 3 at once in his dinner? We just picked him up from the shelter where he was staying while being on vacation so we dont know the routine they've been keeping. Ill call tomorrow but just wanted to know if anyone had any experience before i do. Thanks!

  • Should I tell them now?

I'm dog sitting all day for a family that I am really close too. The dog is brand new and has had some issues being alone. They lift to go skiing this morning.. about an hour and a half a go and I just came and found he had clawed at there doors. He's definitely ruined them by tearing off the wood and paint, should I tell them the next time they call or wait until they come home? Would you want to know now?

  • I think my dog might have a UTI?

Over the past two days, my eight year old australian shepherd's urinary patterns seem to be off. His water bowl always seems to be empty and we can hear him drinking from the toilet. We walk him three times a day and let him out in the yard whenever he wants and my parents and brother say that he has urined large amounts. Also, he's been house trained since we got him, four years ago and this morning, I found a huge puddle on my bathroom floor. Should we take him to the vet? He loves to go for walks but this afternoon when I put his leash on he refused to go anywhere. His behavior has been pretty much the same but he seems to have become lazy as he didn't want to get up sand move a few hours ago. What should we do?

  • Worry worthy bee sting?

Last night I was stung by a bee on the ankle, it's happened to me multiple times before but I don't remember the other times hurting as much as this did. It hurt for the rest of the night but I ignored it and before bed I checked to see if there was a stinger in it but i couldn't see it. Today, the area is red, slightly swollen, itchy and it hurts...a Lot especially when I walk. The past times I have been stung, I don't remember being nearly this bad, but I happen to have a doctors appointment tomorrow so I'll have her look at it, does this sound abnormal or like something to be worried about?

  • How can i treat my dogs pressure sore?

Last summer, a pressure sore appeared on my dogs shoulder. He has a thing for sleeping on the bathroom floor. We try to get him on the carpeting or put a towel under him but he likes the coolness of the tiles. The problem was that he keeps licking at it and putting more pressure until one day it got so bad that we took him to the vet. The veterinarian gave us a cream to apply and told us to keep it cushioned at all times. She covered his shoulder with pads. The problem is that since it is at the very top of his arm and right on the bend, it slides down. We've tried shoulder pads, socks with a rubber band, ace wrap, and so much more but with in a matter of minutes it slides down. We don't want to cover him with something that will keep him from being able to bend his arm. Especially because hes always going up and down the steps and we don't want something to happen. Last year we went to the last resort by taping on the pad with the cream but of course it wasn't good when we had to take it back off. We really need to find something to use before it gets infected again or worse. Any suggestions please? Were thinking of shaving around the area so that we can apply tape again but we would rather not. We just need to find away to be able to keep the pad with the treatment on and some sort of cushioning that won't slide down. Thanks for your help!
