I have a tub of Protein powder that expired in February 2012, however it still has the seal on it.

Would this be ok to use at all or best to throw it away and buy another?

This might be abit long, but bare with me

Today I brought some Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Paste (+the ArctiClean) cleaned all the old stuff off my laptop and applied this, put the laptop back together and turned it on.

Within 15 seconds the underneeth of the laptop was boiling hot with the fan blowing full-speed and the screen came up Red/Yellow/Blue squares and shutdown.

So i took it apart again to take alook, Cleaned and re-applied (slightly thicker layer this time, about 1 - 1.5mm over the die) took the CMOS battery out for 5 mins then put it all back together, turned it on and the same happened again.

I've applied Thermal paste to 100's of PC's/Laptops in the past and never had issues, Is there a chance the brand new Thermal paste was ruined and not performing correctly?

Also does this sound like the Graphical chip has been damaged or should I clean and re-apply my other branded Thermal paste to see if it works?

I've got my car booked in today for the combined Value service, MoT and Valet.

I've looked at fords website but it doesnt say whether their Value service includes changing Spark plugs and such, does anyone know if they change the plugs on a value service?

My Ford Focus mk1 (2000)'s Right side back door wont lock/unlock with the central locking or remote locking and if i lock my car from the inside (with the keyfob or door switch) I cant open the drivers door from the inside of the car unless i unlock the car with the keyfob, the handle pulls but the lock stays on.

Any idea what the problems are?

Do these fuels make a noticable difference in cleaning the engine from old deposits and dirt? I dont care about the performance side of things, I'd just like to know if they can help an engine get clean and last longer.

I'm getting a new car with has 119,000 miles on the clock on standard Petrol, I'd like to give it 5-10 tanks of BP Ultimate / V power to clean some of the engine.

I'm going to look at a new car tomorrow and I'd like to test drive it to see what its like.

Its from a family owned business, but im only 21 years old so my insurance doesnt allow me to drive others cars yet. Would car dealers like this have some form or insurance in place to allow me to test-drive the car?

Also what should I test during a test-drive?

I'd like to start up my own business selling computer components online, but I have no idea how I'd go about finding the supplies.

I'd like to supply and sell things like RAM, HDDs, Motherboards, BLU-RAYs, CPU's, Compressed Air etc.etc.

about 1 drop of milkshake hit my touchpad and alittle went inbetween the buttons, my left-click is working fine but my right button isnt working at all.

I blotted it with paper and fed some into the gap to mop all of it up i could but still no luck

I have 3 brand new tyres off my old car size: 185/60H14

Would these fit onto my new car's wheel's? the new car has size: 185/65H14

Both the cars wheels are the same size but i dont if the tyres will fit, please help.

my girlfriends laptop has recently been acting weird, it usually skips keys sometimes when you type and today she restarted it and when it came back on the keyboard was going crazy.

If she typed "m" it used "Enter", when she typed "b" it typed "b55" "m"="m66" and things like CTRL+A or any CTRL+ commands wouldnt work.

I reinstalled all the drivers, flashed the BIOS, made sure Caps lock, Scroll lock, num luck, FN key buttons were all off and not sticking and the keyboard is still not working.

As soon as we plugged in a USB Keyboard that one works fine but the laptop keyboard still having issues.

I phoned up and started a policy for £89 per month with Admiral, i paid on the phone via my mum's Creditcard and my first month's Directdebit came out yesterday, however they took 1 payment for £89.78 and another for £131.88 and they both say "ADMIRAL INSURANCE FIRST PAYMENT"

I only ever recieved 1 policy documents through the post, am i being charge for a 2nd policy or something? Only the £89.78 policy is correct the other one i dont have a clue what am i ment to do? they've taken an extra £131 out of my bank and possibily another £131 out of my mothers Creditcard for something i never knew or asked for.

I brought a car yesterday but it has no valid MOT and i need to drive to my mums to put 4 wheels on the car then take it to strait to get MOT'd, is this illegal and if so what would happen if i get caught?

The car is taxed and insured.

The remote central locking on my Renault Laguna RT seems to be very weak, i'm having to put the keyfob up against the window and it takes between 4-10 times before the car locks/unlocks any idea what could be wrong? I'd like to be able to unlock/lock the car from a distance and not have to stand at the window for ages pressing the button.

My Escort's headlights have started to get really dim, i can barely see anything at nighttime.

I changed to the Extreme brilliance Halfords bulbs which are much brighter than my old ones but i still can hardly see anything. I had my lights aligned and the light units cleaned but compared to other cars its horrid.

Would it be worth rewiring my headlights and if so what would I need to do it?

I've just had a new clutch fitted and not sure if its related in any way but whenever i break hard or for a long time it feels like something is dragging on the road and it feels abit like metal grinding and virbrates the floor of the car.

It only does this when the car's going from about 20~MPH to 0, no idea what it is but it only does it sometimes maybe once every 70 miles when i have to break hard usually at a round-a-bout.

The car is a 1994 Ford Escort.

Is it anything i should be worried about? Thanks.

The alarm used to sound if i tried to start the car after about 45 seconds of unarming it (When the LED turned red), but awhile back 1 of my fuses blew in the fuse box, i replaced it but since then the alarm will only go off when the shock sensor sets it off but it turns off again after 30 seconds. I dont want to have a alarm that only goes off from the shock.

Does anyone know what could stop the alarm from going off? Could it be one of the fuses attacted to the wiring near the main Toad box?

Any help would be great, I dont want to have to pullout the whole box to just check a fuse.

Just had Sky+ HD installed and wanted to know if there are any new HD channels coming out this year? i've searched but cant seem to find anything on the net.

My Nokia N95 was working normally untill earlier the phone went dead and i charged it about 4 hours after, the lights come on, it says Nokia but then it goes dark, it won't turn on but when i press any other key or open slide it open the lights go strait back on.

I've tried doing this "Hard Reset" by holding Green, Star and 3 but it wont work.

Could it be the battery? as it's never done this before and the battery did go into a washing machine about 2 months ago.

I had a Toad Ai606 alarm fitted last week and it worked great so far, but yesterday it's started behaving strange.

When i arm/disarm 50% of the time the indicators will not flash and there will be no beep, acouple of times the doors didnt even lock/unlock.

Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with it?
