Is the US so divided politically that after the election the fighting will continue?
Is it the case that implosion may occur, and that the US is destined to be like the break up of the USSR?
2 AnswersGovernment9 years agoHow many more American financial scams can the US come up with?
Facebook is looking like a scam to me, based upon peoples greed that it then makes gain upon. You know, since the sordid toxic assets, aka a code word for fraud, I do feel the would should be a little wiser now. It is clear to me that any dealing with the US for foreign investors should be kept to a minimum. I get the impression that you have a failing desperate country that will go to any lengths to extract resources from foreign investors with zero to gain but hardship. Starting to feel that the whole of the US is one big scam!
2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance9 years agoWas Facebook shares issue a scam?
Was this a company that had already lost direction cashing in on its popularity? Was it a way to prop up Americas failing economy with foreign investors again buying worthless bits of paper issued in the US?
Investing9 years agoShould Canada have a Berlin style wall to exclude Americans?
As the US now represents a major security threat, as has so many enemies worldwide, is this not a good idea?
If you can isolate Americans from entry to Canada surely it would make the place more secure?
Too to have it made very clear those that do lawfully enter are on Crown territory, and are constantly reminded of that.
I would like to see a wall similar to that in Arizona that Mexicans contend with, for similar reasons.
Do you agree? And if so do you think the cost would be justified, I feel it a good investment?

5 AnswersOther - Canada9 years agoWhy do US citizens collectively attack a person who offers constructive criticism of America?
What is ingrained within these people to act like animals with a pack instinct? Why do these people feel threatened, and what is behind what appears to be a massive inferiority complex at National level?
Why do they feel that they are superior to other races, as is often the image they project?
10 AnswersPolitics9 years agoAs a European I find a lot of questions posted socially unacceptable, am I alone?
Being British, I believe in freedom of speech. However, many legitimate questions get deleted, why? Answer, because they are I feel contrary to ingrained prejudices of bias towards the 'great' United States. You must never speak freely other than to agree and not offend the American Super Race!
Yet, the site is full of mentally screwed Americans asking questions that contain explicit perverted sexual content that demonstrate to me origins of a sick society, and I find socially unacceptable.
Is it not time that this site became open, but with valid guidelines?
I think it is biased, like most that has origins in the US, maybe the world can do without it!

3 AnswersEtiquette9 years agoShould Europe host its own email/social messaging sites?
It seems clear that culturally we are a lot different. Too so are what is socially acceptable, and unacceptable. If a problem should ever arise, why should one be forced to seek remedy in say a US court, under US law. Many Europeans don't trust the US to be impartial I feel. Also, many take it as a security risk as it is beyond our jurisdiction. If Europe hosted these services totally, how would an American feel?
Many feel the trust has gone with the US, and perhaps it is time to consolidate such services on shore.

And if you ask this question, which is quite valid, how long is it before the censorship of the United States, who CLAIM to stand for freedom of speech have it removed?
Thank God for Europe, not part of Communist style censorship US!.

6 AnswersWords & Wordplay9 years agoIs the US the most successful Country humanity has ever known?
It was a statement used towards me in a reply, is it true? If so, can you tell me why you feel it is true, how do you measure success, is it based upon money and materialism for instance?
11 AnswersOther - Society & Culture9 years agoHas the US tried too hard to form and establish its new country?
I am starting to wonder exactly what went through the minds of those who originally founded the US and question it a lot. It seems a formula was put in place to create this kind of multi racial utopia, that tries to constantly demonstrate that it betters the countries of which its people originated from. To me some of the attempts of superiority are laughable, like say sizing up clothes sizes say from Britain, like a size 7 shoe becomes an 8 etc. The constant reference to how much better things are than where you originate from, often not true. The list is endless, but as the US becomes an older country this recipe is looking very old fashioned.
The interesting thing is that some of the original countries American migrants came from are a lot more up to date, prosperous and more pleasant too. How will the US cope with this fact, and adapt its old fashioned well used recipe?
Can it adapt?
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoDo you get homesick for your country of origin?
Having lived in various places that I was not born in I often find that eventually I either get bored or most likely homesick, and return to my country of origin. Often it is the realisation that I don't like the politics or way of life, or even just the food. Do you feel the same if in that situation. The US was probably the closest, being British, that I could tolerate for an appreciable amount of time, but eventually could not stand either. Is this a common feeling of a desire lo be close to your roots?
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture9 years agoHow do you define racism?
Is it by prejudice towards a persons ethnic origins, or is it towards a persons nationality?
I actually believe that racism can be both, but today more towards a persons country of origin than their skin tone etc.
Does the US instill into people the feeling of belonging to a country that is superior to all others? That it is better, therefore all others are lesser? If pulled up on this trait, does it like to subdue any mention of this through censorship, and prove it does not in fact allow freedom of speech?
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups9 years agoThe United States the greatest Country on Gods Earth, is that a racist statement?
I seem to be constantly reminded of how superior the US is, in replies. Is that racism? Or is it patriotism?
11 AnswersOther - Society & Culture9 years agoShould Britain have enforced repatriation to balance out excessive migration?
It seems clear something has gone badly wrong with attracting the right type of migrants to Britain. We have, it seems, imported a load of fast food chicken sellers, mini cab drivers, car washers, petrol forecourt workers and alike, but what of skilled migrants who are of some use? We have too imported sharia law, and a multitude of foreign languages and people who refuse to adopt our culture, laws, and way of life. Is it not time we reversed this trend and repatriated many who will never comply with being British at heart?
