  • When did today's modern day liberals become marxists?

They're more of a cult following of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin; communists, so to speak.

I don't remeber true liberals, like JFK or Martin Luther King ever follow the ideologies of Marxism, unlike today's modern liberals.

Is because they're misguided and hopeless that they looked to Marxism for comfort?

  • Why do some exotic cars have a V8 engine, while other models have a V12?

Example: The mid-engine Ferrari Scuderia has a V8, but the front-engine Maranello has a V12.

  • Why does my Samsung Galaxy S 3 battery keep dying?

The battery doesn't even make it past an hour without having to be charged again. Samsung told me to factory reset the phone. I did.and it still hasn't solved the issue. I even replaced thr battery with a new one and its even worse. It can't charge up to 100% anymore.

The phone is cosmetically in excellent shape. Has a good screen protector and case to prevent damage. This is an AT&T phone on a T-Mobile network, by the way.

    What could be the issue?

  • Why does the American economic system solely focus on profit?

I've never understood the goal behind the "For rofit only." theory.

  • What remedy do I have for refusal of title transfer?

Purchased a used phone from a seller on craigslist, 9 months ago. The phone needs new accessories, but in order to get them replaced, I neeownershipto send in a copy of proof of ownership to the company...which I don't have.

I contacted the private seller to see if they could transfer over the title of the phone to me; I was met with anger and hostility.

Its.not a huge deal, the accessory only costs $25. I just want to know if I have any cause. Oh, and the terms "sold as is" or "no proof of ownership" were ever mentioned when the purchase was made.

  • Auto insurance company in breach of contract or not?

For the past 3 months, my auto insurance has kept rising my insurance payments to $10 over what the contract stipulates. On the bill it says that it's for a past due balance, however that is incorrect since I hand-deliver each check payment in the amount of whatever it is on the contract to the agency and sign my name and what I'm dropping off on their sign-in sheet by the secretary.

I have copies of checks to prove them otherwise, too, as well as bank documents from when they withdraw from my account. If I let them continue overcharging me, they will continue to increase my coverage for more than just $10. If they choose to cash in my checks late, that is not my fault.

I know it's just $10, but why would I just give them this opportunity to steal from me? I'm sure you guys would do the same if your auto insurance company started ripping you off.

  • What's the story behind Gray Matter?

Why does Walt have a bad history with Gretchen and Elliot? What happened between them that ended badly for Walter? We've seen how he doesn't like them very much from Season 1.

What's the story behind Walt's past when he worked with them and why did they screw him over?

  • I thought mother birds don't abandon their young if touched by a human?

Yesterday afternoon, I saw a fledging baby robin in the middle of the street in my neighborhood. I stopped to pick up so it wouldn't get run over by a car, and it's mother came after me and was very upset that I picked her baby up. I moved the baby over to a nearby tree and set down on the grass, but the mother still left it alone.

I sort of panicked and felt really awful for leaving the little guy all alone (I have a soft spot for babies). I picked him up and brought him with me to our house and put him in a large box. I poured some water for it to drink in a dipping cup and made it a nest out of leaves.

I left it with my Sister and her kids to take care of for the day, but I kept feeling bad all day long. This morning I come to find out that the little guy died from hunger and that it's mother never fed it anything, even though the mother followed her baby a few blocks over. I was told they left him in an empty bird bath and the baby was crying for it's mother(chirping). But now I'm really saddened that he died and I can't help but think he could be living now if it wasn't for my intervention.

He would've gotten run over if I left him, though. I had to rescue him somehow, right? By the way, he had a lot of fleas on him when I held him. I guess he was suffering.

  • What are the best ways to get out in a typical street fight fashion?

I got in a fight today after getting into a heated altercation with some guy at this my friend's house.

He got in my face and started making some threats towards me, so I took the guy down and he managed to get my head locked in for a choke, for what felt like an hour, I eventually managed to escape - not sure if it was due to the guy gassing or just from us sweating.

Once we got back up, we started scraping and I landed some good shots to his face and I managed to break his nose (**** load of blood came pouring out and all over his shirt) and I also tried to use some of Anderson Silva's Muay Tai techniques once we tied up, but for whatever reason I couldn't get my knee up high enough to reach his face.

I also suffered a torn muscle on my forearm, from when we were on the ground when he had me in an arm lock, but I couldn't get out of it - his grip was too strong. I felt like my arm was going to come off. I don't know why he didn't break it, he could have if he wanted to.

  • What are the start up costs for owning a semi-upscale bar?

I'm trying to get into the bar business and I'm trying to hopefully pursue my two brother-in-law's and my brother to all help chip in and that way we could all be owners. So it would 25% ownership spread out and only one of us has any sort of business operations experience.

I have some marketing and business administration knowledge through my college course I took last semester and me being the youngest and most understanding of the type of demographics and who the clients we should market to is a plus.

But my problem is pursuing my family members, since they fear of losing money and going into debt. I just need the bank to help out with the loans and hopefully that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not looking to own or operate a cheap and redneckish type of bar like you see in the movies, where all the bikers hang out and start bar fights. I want it to be nice and affordable enough for the average middle-class to come to.

  • Does my nephew have the symptoms of ADHD?

My nephew, who is 7 years old has been lately, seen talking to himself in a private speech form. He's been having difficulty understanding basic verbal instructions as well, such as to clean his room or not to make a mess or even to behave.

He does well in school and has just begun 3rd grade, but has trouble remembering things and tends to argue he's right when he's proven wrong, when he asks questions about certain subjects. What's also troubling is, he's finding video games too hard to play and comprehend.

Nothing difficult either, just simple games for the classic Super Nintendo that we had laying around in the basement. He use to play Mario games for the Nintendo Wii for hours on end without any trouble. This has been going on ever since Summer break began for him.
