  • Horse Nibbling how dangerous?

I have a gelding who is now 4 years old. Lately he has taken to nibbling on me, it seems sweet and affectionate...but how much should I discourage this behavior?

*I do not treat as I know that this makes a mouthy horse*

Also he seems quite possessive and jealous? He constantly gets between me and my mare, and if I am scratching her he is usually quite annoying tugging on my shirt or nudging my arm. I usually just push him off when he's being a pest but lately it's like a kid having a tantrum...what to do there?

  • Decisions: Lens or Body first?

I currently use a Nikon D80 usually with the AF-S DX 18 - 135 mm F3.5 - F5.6G ED...the camera has been more than adequate for my hobby (outdoor shooting primarily)...as of recently though my work has asked I take pics at away games...I work for an arena football team, and I find my pics to be ok, but many of them are blurry...I have been wondering if I should upgrade my camera body (I have been looking at the D300) or if I need a different lens...or both (eventually will have more lenses and a upgraded body)...Many of the other photographers I have talked to (using Nikon anyway) prefer the AF-S DX 18 - 135 mm F3.5 - F5.6G ED, but all use the D300 or higher. Thoughts?

  • When did it happen for you?

When did you know you wanted to have a baby? I'm just wondering because I am starting to feel like something is off. I don't feel at all interested in kids...the thing is most of my friends are having or have had kids and are sort of getting pushy with the whole "why don't you have a baby" thing. Could there be something wrong? Will it happen for me? Could my clock just be "slow" at starting to tick? I know I'm probably being "paranoid" but I really feel like it may never happen.

*should note I'm 25 and have been married to a wonderful man for 3 years now.
