Help, my baby is on fire.?
Okay, I know this may sound a little crazy, but I just came home from work to find my child on fire. So yeah, this is not good at all. I don't know what to do. I would greatly appreciate some advice on what to do next. Thanks.
12 AnswersNewborn & Baby10 years agoPlease help my laptop is about to die...?
it's been making these grinding noises that also kind of sound like fire crackling...in a way. And so I want to back up my files before I get that 'blue screen' that people keep telling me about.
However I can't, because my laptop won't boost up past up the *microsoft corporations*. I've tried pressing F8, and I get these options but when it goes to safe mode or something; it just loads and then remains in a blank screen, (but i still see the mouse cursor).
I really want to save whatever files I can, but if that's not possible then I just want to save my laptop. The important thing is that I can use my laptop soon again. Without the noises and stuff. Just a clean, fresh start.
I read that I could buy some adaptor for my hard drive so I can connect it to my desktop or something, but I'm really not sure how I do that? How do I take out the hard drive? Do I like need to insert it the adaptop? the desktop computer? What?
Plus I don't have any money to buy something ridiculesly expensive because I need my extra money for college (which I just started). And my father won't help me because he has this stupid 'your responsible for your own stuff' rule. But I still think I can afford anything that's like $30 or less.
I also have all these CD roms that came with my laptop, two of them are these black CDs that says I need to back up the files first before inserting because it'll take over them...So I'm wondering is this something where I could have a new hard drive? Or does this repair it?
I hope this isn't too confusing. But I just really need the help. I'm freaking out!
